We didn't have to wait long for everyone else - well, those who had made it past the first round, anyway. While we waited, I wrote down who got what path.
I was bored. Don't judge me.

Freed and Bickslow -> battle against Laxus -> Laxus win -> Freed and Bickslow out of trial.

Mirajane was now walking around to everyone with mini potions to restore their magical power. Levy winced as she moved her arm.
"Is there anything to heal our injuries? Erza kind of smashed me into the ground..." she complained. Gajeel shot Erza a death glare, and the scarlet-haired knight rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly.
Mirajane shook her head."Sorry, I haven't got anything for physical injuries..." she replied. Levy groaned. She wasn't the only one. Everyone (apart from Natsu and I) were sporting injuries from their battles. I stood up.
"I'll be back in a minute. I think my, um, water fell out of my bag in the clearing back there!" I lied. The truth was that I didn't want anyone else to see the spell I was about to cast. Hopefully it didn't drain too much magical power, despite being a secret art. Luckily, this specific secret art didn't drain as much as attacking arts, but still left me tired afterwards.
Once out of sight, I raised both my hands, which were glowing with a blue light. I closed my eyes and breathed in deeply.
"Dragon Slayer's Secret Art!"
The blue light around my hand intensified and a breeze rippled around me.
"Rising Sun!"
The blue light surrounded my body, and from the startled gasps from my guild mates in the camp, I could tell the light had surrounded them, too. Their panicked gasps turned into appreciative ones, once they felt the effects of the spell. I had developed this spell on my own, thinking it would come in handy. Rising Sun healed all those the user considers as allies of all physical and spiritual ailments, despite my not having any other healing magic whatsoever. Once I felt I had put enough energy into the spell, I dropped my hands back to my sides and the blue light faded. Quickly, I walked back to the camp.
"Wendy! Was that you?" Juvia asked incredulously. Wendy looked super-confused.
"N-no! It wasn't me!" she responded. Nobody noticed my return except Master Makarov, who gave me a meaningful look. I quickly diverted my gaze.
"Okay, enough fuss! All those who made it past the first round of the trial, please gather here," came Makarov's voice. "The second round of the test is to make it through the night here on this island without any outside help. Just you and your partner. You will have to find your own shelter and get your own food. You can use any resources you have on you right now, like books you brought, etcetera. The top three teams will move on, so only one team will be disqualified. Mirajane and Erza will watch your progress. As soon as you find breakfast and eat tomorrow morning, you are to come back here. I will then give you details about Round 3. If you encounter another team, just move on. You may begin... Now!"
The four teams sprinted into the forest, all in separate directions. As we crashed through the trees, I called out to Natsu.
"Natsu! Try find a stream or river! That's a good start for a camp! It's a water supply!"
"Good idea!"
Finally, we found an inlet full of crystal-clear water. There was even a school of fish. Natsu scooped up some water and splashed his face while I scanned the surrounding trees.
"If we bend these old tree branches over like this, and then tie them in place, we could make an effective shelter roof..." I mused as I pressed the tree branches down into a roof like shape.
"Good thing I brought rope," Natsu muttered, tossing it around the branches to hold them in place. For the walls, Natsu and I spent a good hour piling rocks on top of each other.
By the time we had finished, my arms were aching from the strain of moving so many heavy stones.
We sat down near the shelter and I tossed some biscuits to Natsu, keeping some for myself.
"Eat up. We still have to make make-shift pillows and find food for tonight," I sighed. Natsu pointed at the fish, mouth too full of biscuit to say anything.
"Um, okay. I'll try find some edible berries and herbs to go with it? We don't need to find a water source, since we've set up camp right next to one... You try and find some sticks for a fire, aaand, we could try find some long grass for beds or something," I suggested, stuffing a final biscuit into my mouth.
The sky was turning golden as we finished the biscuits and washed them down with water. I hurried off to find some grass, and Natsu started collecting sticks.
Pretty soon, I had constructed some pretty decent beds out of grass and Natsu had started a campfire.
"Can I go catch a fish, now?" he asked. I nodded.
"I'll go find some berries."
I hurried away with my herb book and studied different berries.
"The red ones are poisonous... the blue ones are edible but incredibly sour... these pink ones look good enough and they're edible. Perfect..." I muttered, gathering ten or so pink berries and hurrying back to our make-shift camp. Natsu had apparantly managed to catch two fish (despite the fact that he was now soaking) and had stuck them over the fire on sticks. I deposited the berries onto a small rock between us.
"Boom. Dinner," I grinned, popping a berry into my mouth, "Oh, wow! These are better than I expected!"
The fish tasted great too, and by the time we had finished, the sun had set and stars were gleaming through the dark clouds.
"Hey, did a bird just crap on me? Or is it raining?" Natsu said suddenly. I extended my hand and felt a water droplet splash against my exposed skin.
"Well... Unless there's a whole flock of birds crapping on us... Get under the shelter, it IS raining!" I snickered. We grabbed our belongings and dived for cover. Natsu hissed in annoyance as the rain extinguished our fire.
"I swear, if it's Rain Lady doing this to make it hard for everyone else, I'll kill her...!" he grumbled.
"Nah. This rain probably isn't Juvia's fault! It's probably from natural causes!" I replied, laying down on my grass bed, "I'm just glad the rain isn't leaking through the roof."
I heard Natsu flop down in his own bed.
"Good point."
As we lay there, I wondered if I should tell him that we were somehow (by some magical coincidence) siblings.
Finally, I opened my mouth, "Hey, Natsu?"
The only response I got was a snore. I pulled my jumper out of my bag and hauled it over me, then closed my eyes to try and get some sleep.
