"It's been an hour!" I complained, looking up at the train station clock, "Where the heck is Erza?!"
"I'll run back to the Guild and ask Mira-san!" Wendy offered, half-rising to her feet.
"Don't bother. I've already asked her. She doesn't know," May grumbled. I sighed.
"We can't wait forever. Let's go. We can handle this job with or without that monster..." Natsu decided, shooting a quick look around to make sure Erza hadn't magically appeared to hear his comment about her being the equivalent of a monster.
Luckily for him, she was still nowhere to be seen.Gray trudged over, "The train leaves in five minutes! Is Erza still not here?"
I shook my head at the ice mage, who let out an annoyed huff.
"Let's just go," Lucy muttered.
"Trains..." Natsu hissed in distaste.
"Suck it up, fire face," Gray snapped. Natsu clenched his fists.
"You got a problem with me, droopy eyes?"
"Woah, woah, woah! Let's not get into a fight near our transport!" I panicked, trying (and barely succeeding) to shove the two idiots away from each other.
Carla cleared her throat."We have literally three minutes before the train leaves," she announced. Wendy jumped to her feet, a panicked expression dancing across her features.
"Come on!" Lucy gasped.
We all sprinted onto the train, peering around to try and find some empty seats.
The train jerked to life, causing us all to stumble, and in Natsu's case, to face-plant the floor while clutching his stomach.
"Seriously?!" I asked him incredulously. Lucy stooped down with an irritated expression and hauled Natsu's arm over her shoulder so she could help him find a seat.
I heard Gray mutter 'idiot' and stuff his hands in his pockets.Hmm. He hasn't ditched his shirt yet! It's a miracle!
"Everyone, there are some spare seats here!" Wendy called. She was peering at us over the top of a set of seats with the three exceeds.
I hurried over to join her and watched Lucy drag Natsu down the aisle with an evil grin clearly displayed across my features.
Gray slipped past me and sat down, as far away from the rest of us as possible."Get... Your... Stupid... Face... ON THE DAMN CHAIR!" Lucy growled, attempting to shove Natsu onto a chair.
I pulled my legs up to my chest and watched as Natsu flopped back down onto the floor. Lucy threw her hands up.
"I give up!"
"Just leave him there!" Gray said. Lucy glared at the ice mage.
"Poor Natsu-san...!" Wendy murmured. I shrugged and settled back down into the chair as Natsu rolled around clutching his stomach beneath us, groaning like some rhinoceros going through labour.
I glanced over at Gray.
Aaaaand his shirt's gone. Well, he lasted five minutes. That's a new record!
"Hey, stripper-"
"DAMMIT, STOP CALLING ME STRIPPER!" Gray snapped.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Where's your shirt, again?" I snickered. Gray swore and snatched his (previously discarded) shirt off the floor.
I dragged May away from my bag, knowing she wanted to get at the cookies I had hidden in there.
"Oh, so you lot finally decided to turn up?"
I swivelled around in my seat, and nearly had a heart attack.
Erza was suddenly sitting right beside me, looking bored."What the- E-erza?!" I shrieked, toppling off my seat and (accidentally) landing on my groaning brother.
The rest of the team jumped and swung around to stare at the red-headed mage.
"I've been waiting on this train ever since Skie suggested taking up a job request. You lot took forever to hurry up and get here," Erza rolled her eyes as if this were obvious.
"Are you kidding? We've been waiting for you!" Lucy spluttered indignantly.
"Why? I knew you were going to pick that job, so I came on ahead," Erza explained, "Now, Skie. Please get off Natsu before he dies of oxygen deprivation..."
Everyone sweat-dropped, and I scrambled back up onto my seat with a hastily muttered 'Sorry'.
"Erza-san, how exactly did you know we would choose this job?" Wendy asked, tilting her head slightly in confusion.
Erza shrugged indifferently, "Process of elimination. I knew Natsu would want a hard job, but Lucy and Wendy would have wanted a simple-ish job, and this job wasn't to hard and wasn't too easy."
I blinked, "What."
Natsu let out a feeble moan. Wendy smiled sympathetically and crouched down beside the Fire Dragon Slayer.
"Troia!"
Natsu breathed out a sigh of relief, "Thanks a million, Wendy!"
"Yeah, Natsu needs to be feeling 100% for Lucy~" I smirked.
"SH-SHUT UP," Natsu and Lucy stuttered in perfect unison.
"Why, oh why, did we let you hang around with Mirajane? She just taught you her shipping ways!" Gray remarked disapprovingly. I smiled cutely.
"Meow!"
Gray gave me a weirded out look, but decided to ignore my amazing cat impression.
I pouted, and May gave me a reassuring pat on the shoulder with her tail. I reached up and patted her fondly."You'll always understand my weirdness, won't you May?" I smiled happily.
"That, I will!" May agreed eagerly, "Unlike a certain stripper over there."
"I'm going to kill you two. You know that, right?" Gray grumbled. I squealed in mock terror.
"Oh, I'm terrified!"
"Shut up."
"Anyway...!" Lucy interrupted meaningfully, squeezing in between Erza and I, "We'll be arriving at our destination soon-ish... So make sure you have all your things, okay?"
"Aye aye, Lucy!" I grinned, riffling through my bag. I frowned, "Hey! Where did my cookies go?"
"May, where are you going?" Wendy asked suddenly from near the aisle.
"HEY! YOU LITTLE THEIF!" I yelled, diving over the seat to grab my cookie bag back out of May's paws.
