The next morning Madison woke up when Kris's alarm went off. She got up and went to feed KJ, Nadia and Stanley. She was shocked but happy that they slept through the night. She takes them down to the game room putting them into their swings. Ruth and Claude were in there watching TV. She then heads up to get Noelle, Joey, Sidney, Miracle and Angel. She takes them down putting them into their high chairs to feed them. She gives them fruit and dry cereal.
"Ma me see Da de pay." Noelle says.
"Yes baby, later we will go watch daddy play." Madison say.
"Ustin eww." Noelle says.
"Yes baby, Justin too." Madison says.
"Siddy." Sidney says.
"Yes buddy your namesake will be there too." Madison says.
Micah comes down.
"Good morning Mama." Micah says.
"Good morning buddy." Madison says.
She makes him some cereal and sets him up to do his school work. Kris comes down ready to head to practice. Madison was leaving the kids and dogs with Ruth and Claude while she went to practice with Kris. They head to the car and then head to the arena. They arrive and Kris goes to the locker room. Madison goes to the training room where Matt and Zach were waiting a long with Jasmine.
"Here are Zach's results from rehab." Jasmine says.
"Thanks." Madison replies.
"Murray you look good, you can go skate while the boys are doing workouts in the gym." Madison says.
"Thanks Madison." Murray says.
He went out to the ice to start his skate. Madison looked over everything for Zach.
"Sorry you are not ready to skate yet. Soon but not yet." Madison says to him.
"So continue rehab." Zach says.
"Yes. I think maybe next wee we can get you back in skates." Madison says.
"Thanks Mad." Zach replies.
He heads off with Jasmine for rehab. Madison went out and watched Murray skate. He was looking really good. She had a strong feeling he would be ready to take the ice in practice very soon. Coach comes over as Murray exited the ice. Madison told him that he should go on the road with the team. Because he probably wouldn't start Philly but possibly Toronto.
Practice starts and the boys take the ice. Halfway through Madison looks up when she hears a bunch of whistles and confusion.
"What the hell is going on?" Madison asks.
She goes out. She sees Kris down on the ice.
"Oh god Kris!" Madison yells.
She all but runs out onto the ice. She arrives over to him.
"I am okay, but fuck that hurt." Kris groans lifting his head.
"Jesus baby you are bleeding." Madison says.
"Fuck." Kris says.
He gets up and speeds off for the bench. Madison was happy he was skating under his own power. She follows him. He put a towel to his face wiping the blood away.
"Let me take you back and look at your lip." Madison says.
"Tanger you are done for the day. Get that lip taking care of and go get rest for the game tonight." Sully says.
