Life and Love of Madison and Kris Continued

Chapter 514: Cookout at Sid's

The next morning Madison and Kris slept in.    Kris had a really rough night.    Madison wakes up seeing him still sleeping.    She kisses him soflty so not to wake him.   She then heads down to make brunch for him.   She head down to the kitchen.

"How is he?" Ruth asks seeing her.

"He had a rough night.   He blames himself." Madison says.

"What?   That wasn't his fault." Ruth says.

"I know that, you know that, the team knows that but to Kris he thinks it was his fault.   And it don't help that asshole arm chair coaches on twitter are constantly tagging him in things trashing him." Madison says getting upset.

"Wow that is horrible." Ruth says.

"Yes it is, because Damnit they don't know the hell and turmoil he went through to get back onto that ice.   Both mentally and physically." Madison says.

"I know sweetie and I thank you for being there for him every step of the way." Ruth says hugging her.

"There is no place else I would rather be.   He is my heart and soul." Madison says.

Madison then goes to make brunch.   She makes chicken Parm and noodles.    She then puts it on two plates and puts it on a tray.    She heads up to their room.   She opens the door finding Kris sitting up in bed playing with Joey, Sidney, Angel, Miracle, Kj, Stanley and Nadia and Micah.  It was the most amazing sight.   Madison smiles.

"Can I join the party?" Madison asks.

"Mame!" Joey and Sidney squeal.

"Hey babies." Madison says.

"Something smells good." Kris says.

"Chicken Parm." Madison says.

She sits down wit they tray.   They both eat sharing it with the older kids.    When they finish they head downstairs.   Madison feed the older babies cheerios, fruit and apple sauce.   She then makes Micah a sandwich.    Kris does the dishes.

"So what is on the agenda for the day?" Madison asks.

"We are going to Sid and Nadia's for a cookout.   Its a celebratory cookout for one hell of a season and also for Taylor." Kris says.

"Oh yeah she graduated." Madison says.

"Yes she did and Sid is so proud." Kris says.

"Awesome.   Now there is something I wanted to talk to you about." Madison says.

"What baby?" Kris asks.

"I was thinking of letting Justin and Autumn take Noelle for a little bit this summer." Madison says.

"Yeah I know she isn't going to be happy when him and Autumn go home to BC for the summer." Kris says.

"No, she will be upset." Madison says.

"Yes, they can take her for a month but that is it.   I want to spend time with all my kids." Kris says.

"Okay baby." Madison say kissing him.

They put the kids down for naps and then lay snuggling on the couch watching a few movies.     Madison then goes and makes a few things to take to Sid and Nadia's.   She made deviled eggs, taco salad and her seven layer salad.     Once they were all done her and Kris get up and get dressed.    They then head to get the kids up and ready.   Once that was done they head to grab Micah.

"Can I stay the night at Uncle Sid's?" Micah asks.

"Sure buddy if Uncle Sid and Aunt Nadia say it is okay." Kris says.

"Awesome.   Aunt Taylor is home." Micah says.

"She will be happy to see you." Madison says.

They head out to the car.     They all get in and then head to Sid's house.     The park and head to the door.

"Welcome guys." Nadia says opening it.

"How is Cappy today?" Madison asks.

"Actually he is okay." Nadia says.

"Good." Madison says.

"Did you see Geno has to have surgery.?" Nadia asks.

"No, Wow." Madison says.

They head inside.    Kris joins Sid outside.    Madison puts the kids with Nadia's kids with Micah supervising.   They were all playing.  Madison and Nadia head to the kitchen.     Geno and Anna show up.   Geno was on crutches. 

"Madison thank god you are here." Anna says hugging her.

"What's up?" Madison asks.

"Will you scrub in on Geno's surgery?" Anna asks.

"I am not ortho." Madison says.

"I know but I want you in there." Anna says.

"Sure." Madison says to put her mind at ease.

"Thanks." Anna says hugging her.

That was when Autumn and Justin walk in.   Justin heads out with the guys.   

"Noelle is in with the rest of the kids." Autumn says.

"Thanks.   How was she?" Madison asks.

"Great.  We took her to see Letang." Autumn says.

"I am sure she loved that." Madison says.

"Yes she did." Autumn says.

"Oh I talked to Kris.   He said if you want to you could take her for a month over the summer." Madison says.

"Oh Justin will love that and so will I." Autumn says.

They talk a little more as they take the food out to the table.   The whole team was there along with their significant others.   It was a nice turnout.   Taylor showed up and was surprised as well.   Kris and Madison were staying the night there along with Justin and Autumn and Anna and Geno.   Once everyone else had left they clean up.   They then head inside.    They watch a few movies.   They then all turn in.   Madison checked on the kids.   They were all passed out in the play room.   It was so cute.   They then head up to their bedroom there.    They get a shower and then lay down in bed.  

"That was fun." Madison says.

"Yes it was." Kris says.

"Oh did you know Geno has to have surgery?" Madison asks.

"Yeah he was telling me and Sid." Kris says.

"Anna wants me to scrub in on it." Madison says.

"Can you?" Kris asks.

"Yeah I can." Madison replies.

"Good do it baby." Kris says.

"I am.  Already told her." Madison says.

"Good." Kris says kissing her head. 

"I love you baby, goodnight." Madison says.

"I love you too, goodnight." Kris says.

They curl up together watching a movie before falling into a much needed sleep.
