Life and Love of Madison and Kris Continued

Chapter 524: Arriving back in Montreal

The next morning Madison woke up not feeling Kris beside her. She gets up looking for him. She noticed all the dogs were gone so she figured he took them out for a walk or a run. She gets dressed and headed downstairs. Taylor was sitting at the kitchen table drinking a glass of coffee.

"Good morning Madison." Taylor says.

"Good morning Tay." Madison says.

"If you are looking for Kris he took the dogs for a run." Taylor says.

"I figured that when I noticed the dogs were gone. Are you hungry?" Madison asks.

"I am actually." Taylor says.

"Okay I am too. We don't have much left because we are heading back to Montreal but I am sure I can rummage up something edible." Madison says.

"Thanks." Taylor replies.

Madison opens the fridge finding half a dozen eggs left so she pulls them out along with the leftover bacon, scrapple and sausage. She slices the scrapple in small pieces and puts it on the frying pan to cook. She then puts the bacon on the rack and places it in the microwave.

"Anything I can help with?" Taylor asks.

"Watch the bacon and scrapple while I cook the eggs?" Madison asks.

"Okay I can do that." Taylor says.

"Scrambled with cheese okay?" Madison asks.

"Sounds good." Taylor replies.

Madison scrambles the eggs and adds the rest of the cheese. She then puts it into another frying pan and whisks them until all the juice was gone and they were nice and fluffy. She puts them into a bowl sitting it on the table. She them cooks the sausage. Taylor puts the scrapple on a plate sitting it on the table and then does the same with the bacon. Madison had just finished the sausage and Taylor had just finished setting the table when Kris arrives back with the dogs.

"Oh hey baby we made breakfast do you want some?" Madison asks.

"Sure baby. Let me shower quickly." Kris says kissing her.

Kris then runs up the steps to shower and change. A few minutes later he was back down. Madison had taken care of the dogs feeding them and letting them out. They sit down and start to eat.   When they finish Madison and Taylor clean up while Kris goes and packs the car.   

"I can't believe you guys are leaving and now I will be so lonely." Taylor says.

"Sorry sweetie, but you can always go home to Cole Harbour or you can come visit me and Kris.   Not a long flight either way." Madison says.

"I might take you up on that when we play Toronto." Taylor says.

"So you are working for the Pirates?" Madison asks.

"Until the Penguins season starts again." Taylor says.

"Awesome.   Will you be able to get time off for the trip to New Orleans?" Madison asks.

"Yes my boss knows about it." Taylor says.

"Good." Madison says.

They finish the dishes. 

"Well I better get ready to head for work.   Thanks for the coffee, thanks for breakfast and thanks for the conversation.   I am glad that you are in my life and that you bought Nadia into mine and Sid's." Taylor says.

"I am too." Madison says.

They hug and then Taylor leaves.     Madison starts to pack up the dogs.   Kris comes in and they lock everything up in the house.    They then load the dogs into the car.   Madison and Kris get in as well and they head for the airstrip.     Kris parks and then goes and carries the boxes on the plane followed by the luggage.    Kris then helps Madison and the dogs on the plane.    The dogs lay down and Madison and Kris sit and buckle up.   A few minutes later the plane takes off.     Madison snuggles up against Kris falling asleep.
