Life and Love of Madison and Kris Continued

Chapter 462: March Madness

Madison was woken up the next morning with Kris's phone going off.

"Who the fuck is calling you at 5:30 in the fucking morning on a Saturday." Madison groans.

"Sidney Crosby." Kris says seeing his face on his screen.

"Answer it and make the fucking thing shut up." Madison says.

"Someone is cranky." Kris says laughing as he answers the phone.

"Sid you better have a good reason to be calling at this ungodly hour or Madison just may kill you." Kris says.

"I am calling because were are having a practice today.   But it is going to start at 9 instead of 11 like normal.   Because we are going to the basketball game at the arena." Sid says.

"And you couldn't wait until like 7:30 to call." Kris says.

"Sorry Coach called me, I called you and he called G." Sid replies.

"Oh poor coach, I would hate to poke that bear." Kris says.

"I know  why do you think I offered to call you instead." Sid says laughing.

"Well if that is all I am going to hang up and try to sleep until 8:00." Kris says.

"See ya later." Sid replies.

They disconnect.    Kris sets his alarm for 8.   

"Sorry baby but we have practice at 9 that is why Sid called." Kris says.

"Unscheduled practice?" Madison asks snuggling closer to him.

"Yes, now close your eyes and try to go back to sleep." Kris says kissing her head.

They both close their eyes and fall back to sleep. 

A few hours later the alarm goes off.   Madison gets up and throws on a pair of jeans and a penguins tee.   She then goes and checks on the babies.    She feed KJ, Stanley and Nadia.   She then puts them in the carrier.   She get's Sidney, Joey, Angel and Miracle and takes them downstairs.   She puts the youngest three in their swings and then the others into their high chairs to eat.   She gives them cheerios and a bottle of milk.    Kris comes down the steps.

"After the game we have to come back here get changed and head to the arena.    We were all invited to the basketball game." Kris says.

"Awesome.  I guess the kids can't go." Madison asks.

"Yeah they can." Kris says.

"Awesome." Madison says.

They kiss the babies and then head out to the truck.   Kris heads to the practice facility.    When they arrive Kris parks and they head inside.   Kris goes to the locker room and Madison goes to the training room.   Murray, Zach and Simon were waiting for her.

"Hey guys.   Murray you are first.   How do you feel?" Madison asks.

"I feel great." Murray says. 

"Yeah I was watching you on the ice.   I think you are fully better now so you can actually practice." Madison says.

"Thanks Madison." Murray says.

He heads to the locker room to change.   

"Zach I have seen the reports of the your rehab and skating by yourself.   I think you are ready to join they guys but non contact only." Madison says.

"Thanks Madison." Zach says.

He grabs the non contact jersey and heads to the locker room.

"Simon, I don't think you are quite there yet.   Almost but not yet.    Keep rehabbing with Craig." Madison says.
