Life and Love of Madison and Kris Continued

Chapter 451: Practice/Leaving For Philly

The next morning Madison woke up a little before the alarm.   She wanted to pack a little extra just in case they got snowed in.   She added a few extra sets of warm clothes to her and Kris's suit case as well as pressed a few extra suits.   She then headed to pack for all the babies.   She hated adding an extra suit case for them but she wanted to make sure she had enough.    She then headed to the pack extra for Micah.   Once she was done that she headed back to bed.  Kris was still sleeping.   She snuggled back against him falling back to sleep.

A few hours later the alarm went off.

"Good morning baby." Kris says kissing her.

"Kristopher your lip." Madison says.

"Is fine thanks to my wonder wife who just so happens to be a doctor." Kris says.

"Still be careful okay, I worked hard to make sure there wasn't a scar." Madison say.

"Yes Dr. Letang." Kris says.

"I don't like the weather reports for this road trip.  So I made the decision to take the babies and Micah with us.  I don't want to be snowed in with out them." Madison says.

"Okay baby." Kris says.

"Okay, I repacked for us too adding some more warm clothes just in case." Madison says.

"Thanks baby.  I love you so much always taking care of me and the babies and Micah thinking of all the details." Kris says.

"I love you too baby.   Now we better get ready so we can head to the practice facility." Madison says.

"Yup.  Looks like there was a change of plans.  Instead of flying out late tonight they are going to fly us out right after practice ends." Kris says.

"Figured to get us there before the storm hits." Madison replies.

"Yes that is what Sid said.  Oh Nadia is going as well.   She is bringing the babies too.   Sid is scared of getting snowed in without them." Kris says.

"Yeah I know Nadia mentioned she was off all the rest of this week.   She took vacation." Madison says.

"Good." Kris says as they head to the shower.

They both get in and quickly shower and then head out to get dressed.  Madison then went to Joey, Noelle and Sidney's room.  They were all awake waiting to be picked up.   Madison picks Joey up first.

"Ma me." Joey says giving her kisses.

"Hey baby boy." Madison says kissing him..
She gets him changed and into the carrier.   Then she grabs Sidney, followed by Noelle.  She still had hold of the puck Justin got her.   Once the three of them were in they head to the twins room. Madison does the same thing with them.   Then she moves to KJ, Nadia and Stanley's room.  She feeds them then changes them before putting then with their brothers and sisters.  She then heads to Micah's room getting him up.   She takes then down to feed them before they left.   Kris brings down the luggage.

"Ready?" Kris asks.

"Yeah." Madison says.

They say goodbye to Ruth and Claude.   They then get the luggage in the car.  They then all pile in and head to the facility.   Madison takes the kids in to her office.   She sets Micah up with his school work.   Kris had went with the other guys to watch the game.   Madison went to check on Murray.  He out skating on his own.

"Good sign." Madison says.

"Yes it is." Nadia says.

"I am so happy you are here." Madison says.

They hug.   Finally Matt comes off the ice.   Madison and him talk for a few moments.  He then goes to have his other part of rehab. 

Madison went to go document it and to check on Micah.   His school work was done.   Madison uploads it.   Again straight A's.

They all head out to watch practice.  Madison was happy that the babies all slept.   A few hours later they boys finished.   They headed to the locker room to shower and change.   

Finally they come out.   Kris comes over to Madison.  They link hands and head to the bus.  Once everyone was on the bus it took for for the airstrip.   The luggage is as all stored under the plane.   Again once everyone was on board they took off for Philly.

Not even an hour later the landed.   They get off grabbing their luggage, they all get on the bus.   It takes them to the hotel.

They check in and head to their room.   Kris Madison and Sid and Nadia were sharing the Penthouse suite.     The babies had woke just before they landed.   Madison and Kris play with them tiring them out.

"What do you want to do for dinner?" Sid asks them.

"Maybe room service." Kris asks

"That works."  Madison says.

"I want pizZa." Nadia says

"That sounds even better."  Sid says:

Sid orders a few pizzas as they turn on the news.   All they were talking about was the Nor'easter that was hitting.  

"Looks like we might get stranded in Philly for the night." Nadia says.

"Yup did you bring extra stuff?" Madison asks

"Sure did." Nadia saysZ

They were watching the babies and Micah all play together.  It was cute.  The pizza arrives as does the hotel staff with flashlights, water and extra blankets.

"We are fully stocked and ready for this so if you guys need anything please don't hesitate to call the front desk." The manager of the hotel says.

"Thanks." They all say.

Madison goes to look out the window.

"Holy cow.  It's really snowing." Madison says.

"Wow it's so pretty." Nadia says:

They hang out with the kids a little more eating and playing with them before it was time for them to turn in.   Kris pulls out the sofa bed for Micah and then gets him situated with a flashlight and  some blankets.

" night mommy and daddy." Micah says.

"Night baby boy." Madison say

They kiss him and tuck him in.   They then head to put Joey, Sidney and Noelle to bed.

They then change and put Angel and Miracle to bed as well  Next they more on to the New horn babies.   Madison feeds then and gets them changed.   Once they were all in bed, Madison joins Kris in bed.   He was already in bed.   Madison snuggles closer to him.   Kris sets his alarm and they both drift off into a much needed sleep.
