Life and Love of Madison and Kris Continued

Chapter 588: Still Raining

The next morning Kris and Madison woke up to a big ass thunder clap and a flash of lightening.

"Damn I guess it is still raining." Kris says.

"Yeah." Madison says.

"At least Joey and Miracle didn't wake up." Kris replies still seeing them sleep.

"I know as did any other of the kids." Madison says.

"I will set my alarm for 11 and then we can reassess. " Kris replies.

"Sounds good." Madison says.

Kris sets his alarm and they both fall back to sleep.

A few hours later Kris's alarm goes off and they both wake up.     It was still storming badly and the power was still out.

"Well what to do?" Madison asks as everyone slowly woke up.

"I guess we are stranded here again." Sid says.

"Yeah because it don't look like is stopping anytime soon." Nadia says.

"We will make due and have fun." Taylor replies.

"Yes we will." Jake says.

"We can build forts and tell stories." Anna suggests.

"I like that." Geno says.

"We can do that.   It will be fun." Autumn says.

"And keep the kids occupied and lot scared." Justin replies.

Once everyone dressed they all got the kids ready and headed up to the kitchen to see what they could make.

"Why don't we do Tacos again." Kris says.

"That will be easy to fix." Madison says.

Madison and Kris get out a few pounds of ground beef to brown.    They then add the Taco seasoning.      While they were working on that Taylor and Jake were cutting the onions and tomatoes,   Justin and Autumn were breaking the lettuce into a bowel,   Anna and Geno were shredding the cheese and Sid and Nadia got out the salsa and sour cream and put it into bowls.    Nadia then made some Spanish rice.    Taylor got out the Taco shells out and Jake set the table with paper plates.    Sid and Nadia got napkins and silverware.    Anna and Geno got drinks.   Justin and Autumn helped Kris and Madison bring the food to the table.    They make the kids their plates first.   Then they all sit down after making theirs.   

"So its still storming badly, what are we going to do?" Jake asks.

"Yeah what are we going to do?" Taylor asks.

"Well we can build a fort or something like that." Justin says.

"That will be fun." Autumn replies.

"We have legos." Kris says.

"Yes we do lots of them." Madison says.

"Oh lego fun." Geno replies.

"Yeah that will be fun and the kids will like it too." Anna says.

"Well a Lego fort it is." Sid says.

"It will be fun." Nadia says.

They finish eating and then take turns cleaning up the dishes.   Madison, Anna and Nadia head to take the kids down the basement while everyone else gathered more supplies.    Finally everyone was down in the basement.

"Can we build a zoo?" Micah asks.

"Sure buddy." Kris says.

"We need anmals." Noelle says.

"We will go get you some princess." Autumn says.

They go and get some animals for their zoo.   They then start to build the zoo out of legos and other things.    They were having fun.       A few hours later they had it done.   They then set up a make shift screen and projected Netflix onto it and watch a variety of different things.      For dinner they had grilled cheese and tomato soup.         They then played with the kids some more before it was time for bed.   They got them all settled and into bed.    The adults then played card for humanity for a little bit before turning into their makeshift rooms.     Madison and Kris climb on their air mattress. 

"It is still raining." Madison says.

"I know.  Looks like its supposed to rain until Tuesday." Kris says.

"Damn so the power will be out until then." Madison says.

"Probably and we will have our house guests until then too." Kris says.

"Least we will have fun." Madison says.

"True." Kris replies.

They get ready for bed,   that was when Joey and Miracle come over to them.   Kris scoops them both up.

"You guys still scared of the storm?" Madison asks.

"Yes." They both say.

"You can sleep with us today." Kris says.

They snuggle up against Madison and Kris.     They turn on Homewood Bound to watch.     When that was over they put on the second one.   Joey and Miracle fall asleep at the start of the second one.     Kris and Madison make it a little further into the movie before both falling asleep as well.
