Chappy 22 - Kasi

Kasi's POV

I came back to the Philippines, wala lang trip ko lang, besides i want to surprise them but it seems like my best friend already knows, too bad.

*Flashback*

"Marry me ...." I said to the girl infront of me, aish kung hindi dahil kay grandpa hindi ko gagawin to eh!

Sobrang ingay niya, hindi ko nga din siya kilala eh, hindi ko alam kung bakit ba inutos sakin to ni grandpa. It sucks hearing her shout, parang masisira ear drums ko!

She shouted and shouted, ayoko na, umalis na ako dun, ang sakit sa tenga ng boses niya, but she looks so familiar, grandpa did not mention that girl's name, aish nevermind.

*end of flashback*

I remembered that time i met zid again, kaya pala she's so damn familiar, but seriously did i grow too handsome that she could not recognize me?

After knowing na si zid pala yung pinapautos ni grandpa i find this mission fun, i like seeing her shout and feel irritated haha.

Wherever she go i always follow her, yup im a stalker, ewan ko ba kung bakit pinapagawa sakin ni grandpa 'to.

*brizz...brizz*

Nag vibrate yung phone ko, si grandpa pala.

From grandpa:

'kasi, ginagawa mo ba ang mga task mo?, don't worry i'll give you what you need, uuwi ako diyan next week araso? I have something important to discuss with you, privately'

What? Ano nanamang trip neto ni grandpa? Something important? Psh, bahala na atleast i can have what i need and what i want.

Kakagaling ko lang sa hospital and i saw someone that truly resembles me.

Zenon, i wonder if he already knows me, i know im such a fool to run away from them but that decision made me a better person now.

I guess, he really is just like me, i want to be a doctor too, but unfortunately i became a business man.

Nag madali akong lumabas ng hospital, baka makita niya ako mahirap nang mabuking.

"Eun joong ....." I heard someone called me.

Lumingon ako para harapin yun.....
Anak ng teteng, si grandpa pala, mukhang hindi na nakatiis dun sa 'something important ' na yun.

"Grandpa, your too early, i thought you'll come back next week?" Tanong ko.

"Naninigurado lang eun joong, baka mamaya hindi mo ginagawa yung task mo" natatawang sabi ni grandpa.

Only grandpa calls me by my korean name, gusto kasi ni zid nung mga bata pa kami sa korea, and korean men, nung lumayas ako i changed my name, I'm too clever to be fooled by them, i know they'll find me.

Luckily grandpa and i are super close, he took care of me when i was alone and nobody to lean on, he treated me like a real family.

Grandpa and i are not related, he's zid's grandpa actually, that's why i should obey him and his rules.

Napa ngiti nalang ako dahil sa pag mamahal na nadama ko kay grandpa, and not from my parents.

"Eun joong, let's go?" yaya sakin ni grandpa. Tumango nalang ako.

Pumunta kami sa bahay ni grandpa dito, malayo siya pero may napagandang tanawin.

Pumasok na kami at dumeretso agad ako sa sala, as usual kumain lang ako dun habang naka dekwatro.

Grandpa accepts who i truly am, as long as i don't hurt anyone, he doesn't think negative vibes about my attitude, i know im a little bit rude, but what can i do, this is me, i don't need someone who can't accept me for what i am.

"Kasi...." Ang tagal na nung tinawag ako ni grandpa sa totoong pangalan ko, it means what we're talking about is really serious.

"Yes grandpa?" I asked politely.

"Your parents finally found you, but they think your still in korea, they know that you changed your name too, thats why i send you here, for now we'll delay our flight to korea, i don't know for how many weeks, days, or months...."

Panimula ni grandpa.

Sinasabi ko na nga ba't mahahanap nila ako eh.

"We'll be staying here at the Philippines for a while, is that okay with you?"

One thing i really like about grandpa is he's always ask if im okay, something i never heard fron my parents.

"Of course, no prob grandpa" naka thumbs up na sabi ko.

"That's good so we're settle, oh there's more, zenon knows he has a brother too" naka ngiting sabi ni grandpa.

I can't say any word, i feel ashamed, what will he feel if he knew that he's brother run away from he's own family?

"Kasi, i know your brother would like to meet you too, don't overthink and just face reality with brave and strong heart, We don't know when your going to meet your parents again, but if that's the case, I'll come to you and protect you okay?"

Grandpa's words melted in my heart, cheesy but when grandpa's giving me words that will lift myself, i found it very meaningful.

"Okay grandpa....." i nodded.

"Okay, I'll go upstairs to rest, here.." May inabot sakin si grandpa, credit card.

"Go buy yourself something you want, have fun"

Grandpa never fails to make me cheer up.

"Thanks grandpa, rest well"

"Alright, drive safely" last words na binitawan niya at umakyat na sa taas.

Grandpa may be old, but his words will grow inside my heart.
