Chappy 67 - Official

Zenon's POV

I can't believe zid and I are official, Hindi mawala yung ngiti sa labi ko, mukha tuloy akong tanga.

"Kinikilig ka no?" Singit ng katabi ko.

"Nako Taki official na kasi sila ni zid" singit din ni various.

It's been months since Taki fully recovered sa injuries niya, ngayon nasa bahay kami ng parents ni Taki, well bahay na niya, nalipat na kasi lahat ng wealth ng family niya sakanya.

"Yeah, I'm happy because of that" may ngiti sa laging inalala ko ang nangyari kagabi, we hold hands, lay under the same stars, eat our favorite food, hang out at our favorite place where we first got to know each other.

' Rooftop '

"Tsk tsk, iba talaga nagagawa ng pag ibig" various mumbled.

"Yah, please take care of our zid" Taki spoke as if zid is her daughter.

I chuckled.

"You don't have to say that to me, I will always take care of her, she's my other half, I'll loved her as if she's mine"

Sabay naman silang nag tawanan at nag paluan.

"Nakaka kilig din pala kayong dalawa eh!" Sigaw ni Taki at hinampas si various, buti nalang magaling na yung kamay niya.

Really kinikilig sila samin ni zid?

Pero ang kasiyahang ito baka mapalitan ng lungkot, Hindi padin kami makaka takas dun sa fixed marriage.

"Hey, ano na nga palang nangyari about sa pakana ng Lolo mo?" Taki asked

"Zid and I can win if we have each other"

"But each other aren't enough zenon, you have to do something, naiipit kayo nila Kasi, Kath at zid"

I sighed, Nakakainis dahil ang daming hadlang saamin.

"I think I can do something zenon"  various stood up and faced us.

"How about I'll ask my lawyer?" Various presented.

"That's right! I can help you too, now that I have my will and power, I can help you a lot"

Shiz I forgot that my friends are powerful and rich.

' Tsk tsk '

Hindi ko alam kung saan ako pupulutin kung wala sila.

"Thank you guys, I'm afraid that I won't protect my girl and loose"

Tinapik naman nila yung likod ko, so much companion.

"We'll win this time zenon"

We talked and discuss regarding that damn fixed marriage, apparently various lawyer can help us.

Nag paalam na ako sakanila, Sabi kasi nila kailangan nandun ako kay zid, they said that baka daw kidnapin si zid ng Lolo niya, well that won't happen right?

' It might '

I shrugged away my frustrations and continued driving, as usual nasa Cafe si zid and kuya, kanya kanyang agenda.

I'm a doctor and everyone thinks I'm smart, but when it comes against my family I become dumb, not this time.

I remembered a friend, not a friend at all, I won't forget that damn guy who embarrassed me for wearing a mascot.

' Kallel Tyson rave '

I remembered he gave me a card, calling card so I called him.

"Good afternoon Mr. Rave, remember me?" Of course I stopped the car and called Mr. Rave, I can't die now.

"Hearing your voice, zenon I already knew it's you, so what's up?" Wow so feeling niya close na kami?

But that's okay, at least I hugged zid that time.

"Can I visit you? I mean if your not busy Mr. Rav--"

"Yeah you can visit me, you have my card right? I'm at my office now" I heard he specialized in something, and he said that someday I'll need his service, well I think that someday is today.

I glanced at the card he gave me, malapit lang ang village niya kela zid, maganda dahil on the way.

I drive listening to zid's songs, I love her songs, different genre, different titles and meaningful.

Imagine dragons - demons.

There's a beast inside of us, but we choose not to show it unless there's someone who saw it, just like how zid saw me.

Just my presence, I'm a beast, I'm mentally ill and I'm hurting people that I can't even remember why.

It makes me think I don't deserve zid, she's a precious living fragile girl that I love and im just a beast.

But no, I can't loose now, there's no way I'd loose zid, not my girl.

Naka rating naman ako sa office ni Mr. Rave na nasa loob ng village, kinda weird but nah.

Syempre katok katok tapos pinapasok ako, everything went well until he asked why I ended up to his office.

"Ano po bang trabaho niyo Mr. Rave?"

"I earned a company, I'm a lawyer too but ended up being a business man"

' Oh he's a lawyer, now's my chance '

"Can I ask you a question?" Thankfully he said yes.

"Uhm, Yung kuya ko po kasi naipit siya sa fixed marriage to my girlfriend, but my kuya likes someone and he's involved in a marriage, apparently my girlfriend's grandfather and my grandfather agreed regarding that and my parents can't do anything about that, plus that my brother is my girlfriend's best friend"

Mukhang naguluhan siya ng konti pero naiintindihan din naman niya.

"That's interesting, well may relationship kayo ng ipapakasal sa iba which is good, and your brother likes someone else, actually it's not a big deal zenon, only you guys can choose your future, your grandfather's can't do anything about that......"

That's a relief..

"But there's someone who need to take that place, whether your girlfriend's sister or you, anything will do but someone who is in your family can be qualified to that arrangement"

Shit, it's not the end, kailangan pala may kapalit, and who would be that?

"That's an arrangement, it's settled and it's true you can't do anything about it but they must've missed something, a pledge that only a certain person can be qualified in that marriage, your lucky though"

"Thank you very much Mr. Rave I've been trying to think how to get out of that marriage contract, thank you again for that, that's a lot of help for me" I bid my goodbyes, buti nalang hindi ako siningil, I'm lucky because I got an advice by a lawyer who didn't even bother to get paid, thanks to him my problems are solved.

All I have to do is make a move.

Now I know how this thing works, I can finally make a move without making any mistakes, I can set kuya free and I can be with my girl.
