Chappy 44 - "Let me stay by your side"

Zenon's POV

I felt companion, her hugs make me never want to let go.

Everyday I get lost in that 'something about her'

Is it time to confess my feelings?

' Please give me a sign '

I don't know if it's a myth or something, but I really need an answer right now.

"Let go of something that prevents you to move forward"

Zid said that to my ears, what does she mean by that?

Is this the one I asked for?

Humiwalay si zid sa yakap at humarap sakin.

"I know you've gone so far, i just want you to know that you're enough, you're more than enough, and I'm so proud of you"

She said that while she held my hand.

' What did I do to deserve this?, What did I do to deserve her? '

I was amazed by what she said, those simple words melted in my heart, im falling for her over and over again.

I just stared at her eyes, those eyes that makes you feel the universe, sparkling like a thousand stars.

My star.

"I like you"

I can't hold back my feelings, i want her to know that I like her.

She was the one who stayed by my side, when the skies are bright and everything was alright.

"let me stay by your side"

No words can describe how much I felt for her.

I cupped her cheeks, "I'll never let go of you again, I promise"

I started to like zid when we first met, I know it's cheesy, and I'm such a jerk for being rude to her when we first met.

I know it's too much but I kissed her forehead, I want her to feel comfortable with me, I want her to be safe, with me.

"You're my life saver, I am your knight, your'e my star and I am your universe"

Zid's POV

My heart is beating louder and louder as I heard zenon's voice.

I don't know what to say.

I can feel my cheeks reddend

Those words left my heart sinking, and I wasn't able to process what he said.

I overheard what he said earlier at the roller coaster, but I thought he was just joking.

Zenon, that handsome guy who is smart and the one I like, likes me?

I don't know if this is true, I pinched myself to wake up from this dream but I failed, I felt pain that I realized this is true.

"I-i don't know what to say"

I don't know where did I find the courage to said those words, honestly I can't get over to the fact that he said he like me.

"You don't need to, I'm not forcing you to like me too, but please let me stay by your side"

' I thought zenon was smart, how come he doesn't know I like him too? '

I nodded my head as a response from what he said.

I'm going crazy, my hands and toes are trembling, I can't feel them, butterflies started to fly to my stomach.

' What's happening to me? '

He held my hand and looked straight to my eyes, his stare gives me quiver down to my spine, the butterflies in my stomach are flying crazy again.

"Let's go?, I'm okay now let's eat some ice cream!" He screamed as if he's a child.

He's so adorable, who wouldn't like him?
