Met in Tokyo

Tom laid in bed, staring at the ceiling silently. Christina had went out to run errands again and Tom had decided to stay at the apartment. Not because he didn't want to leave the house for once in the past few days, but he was tired and figured it would be good to stay at the apartment to think about some things and get some rest.

It was silent in the room as well as the city. It was as if everyone in the city took a day off as well. A day to gather themselves, stress about things that really don't need to be stressed about, think about people that don't need to be thought about, and cry about things that don't need to be cried about. Just like Tom...

He closed his eyes, letting a cold, depressing tear roll down his face and drip onto the pillow. All he could think about was Zendaya, her smile, her laugh, her voice, her presence, everything. It was just yesterday they were telling each other that they loved each other then next thing Tom knew, he was flying off a cliff with Zendaya's ex.

As Tom was lost in his thoughts, the door slowly slid open without him hearing it. He continued to get lost in the whirlpool of his thoughts, but began to hear footsteps entering the room. Not bothering to open his eyes, he assumed it was Christina.

"Hey, Christina. You're back earlier than I thought you would be," Tom said, his voice sounding inaudible as if he was mumbling. He didn't get a response, though, just silence.

"Christina?"

Suddenly, he felt a cloth being pressed against his face that was drenched in a liquid of some sort. His surroundings became blurry and he was unable to move. He blacked out...

When he woke up, he was in the back of what appeared to be a SUV with his hands tied tightly behind his back. A gag had been stuffed his mouth leaving him to rely on his stuffy nose to be able to breathe. He couldn't see the driver, but the person in the passengers side was female, with long dark hair and strong shoulders. She wore a spaghetti-strap shirt and black jeans with black boots to match. Tom couldn't see her face, or anything else for that matter, as he slowly grew unconscious again. He didn't know what was happening or why it was happening, but soon, he blacked out once again.

His eyes slowly fluttered open and his brain told up to sit up slowly. He was in a soft bed in the middle of an empty room. The walls were painted black to match the sheets, and the only light source in the room was the daylight shining through the single window behind the bed. Tom was no longer tied up, but as he got up and tried to open the door, he discovered it was locked. He sighed, resting his back on the door and slowly sliding down to the floor.

He curled himself up in a ball, wondering how he even got into this situation. He was already in hell, why would someone want to put him through more hell? He then began to hear footsteps coming towards the door and slowly got up, backing away from it.

It opened slowly, and someone peaked in. It was a girl, and she had blonde hair that was put into multiple braids. She wore a camouflage jacket with a white t-shirt underneath along with camouflage pants as well. She had a round face structure with strong cheekbones. She had tight eyes in which her hazel pupils shimmered from underneath her eyelids. She gave Tom a soft, friendly smile, as if she wasn't holding him captive.

"Why am I here? Who are you?" Tom battered her in questions, demanding an answer.

"You're here because I'm trying to save you from your own little friend," The girl finally spoke, leaning against the doorway.

"Are you talking about Christina? Why would I need to be saved from her? She helped me get through all the shit this place has put me through, she's the last person I need to be saved from," Tom snapped.

"She did that to gain your trust, so when you least expect it... she'll stab you in the back just like the others," The girl responded, stepping closer to Tom only to have him step back in fear.

"What are you talking about?"

"Remember that 'witch' she told you about, the one that supposedly put your girlfriend under some kind of demonic possession? It was her, she told you that to leave you to pick up the pieces to the lies she told you and blame someone else for what she did. She's evil and she deserves to be down here. She's the reason why you're even down here, and she's waiting for your girlfriend to come and rescue you so she can keep you both prisoners down here like her," The girl spat out all at once, leaving Tom in complete confusion.

"I-I don't understand, this is all too much..." Tom stuttered, sitting on the edge of the bed with his head in his hands.

"Let me give you a tour of Tokyo, I'll explain everything while we're in the car," The girl offered, but Tom raised an eyebrow in even more confusion.

"Tokyo?"

"Yes, the underworld's Tokyo, better than the original. Christina won't find you here, but you'll need to learn the ways of life around here or you won't last very long."

"And who are you?" Tom asked curiously.

"I'm Hayley, Tokyo's Demon..."
