Beau awkwardly shuffled out with a demented smile in his face.
Now it's only me and Jai in the room. Alone.
This is my chance to speak to him, I can finally apoligise and beg for forgiveness.
Beau then popped his head round the corner.
"Sorry guys. Have i disrupted anything? I just need my fish flakes." He collected his fish food and wiggled his way back to his bedroom.
Now it's just me and Jai in the room.
i tap his shoulder as he is facing the other way.
"Um Jai?" I timidly stutter as i let the words out.
"Look, I don't want to talk about whats happened. Where Luke?" he narrowed his chocolate brown eyes at me.
"I just want to exp---"
"I said i don't want to talk about it. Wheres Luke?" Jai didn't let me finish off what i was going to say.
"He stormed out." My eyes started to water.
"Why are your eyes watering?" He asked with no emotion in his voice.
He seemed really angry with me. How can i explain myself if he doesnt want to talk about it?
"Nothing it doesn't matter." i sniffed as he offered me a tissue.
"Yes it does matter Tiffany, I may be angry with you but that doesn't mean i don't want to know why your feeling the way you do." He sat me down on his sofa and rubbed my back.
"I miss you Jai. I want you to listen to me. I want you to trust and believe me. I'm sorry Jai." I rest my head on his shoulder as i wait for him to reply.
"I do trust you. I just can't believe you would di something like that. You hurt me Tiffany. My heart shattered when i heard it." He then looked down.
"Jai, That never happened. That was the rumour. Thats why everyine hates, Thats why i have been in so many fight and thats why i keep in gettig sent to the head teachers office. I wasn't allowed to go to school for a week after the fight with Mia. I don't go anyway, Theres no point. I can't learn without being bitched about or names being chucked at me." When i told Jai, it felt like a giant weight has been let off my chest.
Jai's face lit up. A little smile appeared on his face. He then looked at me.
"All i'm asking for is you forgiveness"
I fluttered my eyes and watched his eyes squint.
Our lips then attached. It was like the deal with Luke. But even better, And this time i let it happen.
