So, I'm pretty sure today (March 9th) is Mikael Samuelson's birthday, and I wanted to make a chapter in his honor. He's my second favorite Phantom and my favorite foreign Phantom.
I've listened to the audio of the original Swedish cast on Youtube so many times, and I just love all of them. I did, however, find this one small clip of Mikael in 'Music of the Night':
He is so incredible in just that one bit, honestly.

He also played Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in the 2008 Swedish cast of Jekyll and Hyde. His 'This is the Moment' is great:

I think Mikael must have been really great as the Phantom because he can make his voice sound very soft and gentle, but then sometimes it also sounds more dark and aggressive. Same with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
If you haven't heard Mikael as the Phantom yet, I really recommend you listen to him, because he really is great. And if you're a fan of Jekyll and Hyde, I would recommend listening to him there, too.
