Yes, I know I just posted one of these yesterday, but I have been going through some kind of phase lately where I've been constantly listening to stuff from the musical on YouTube.
So, since the last chapter was about Phantoms who performed in the role before 2000, that made me start thinking Phantoms from this century. Thinking a lot about it, I made up this list of ones I've heard and liked:
Peter Jorde (Copenhagen)
Flemming Enevold (Copenhagen)
Luis Armando (Madrid)
Sandor Sasvari (Budapest)
Hugh Panaro (Broadway)
John Owen-Jones (London, UK Tour)
Jon Ian Bourg (Germany, World Tour)
Gary Mauer (US Tour)
Peter Joback (London, Broadway, Stockholm)
Jonathan Roxmouth (Would Tour)
Norm Lewis (Broadway)
Ivan Ozhogin (Moscow)
Andrey Schkoldychenko (Moscow)
Geronimo Rauch (London)
Gardar Thor Cortes (LND Hamburg, US Tour)
Tomas Ambt Kofod (Copenhagen)
Tim Howar (London)
I would say my favorites of these guys are definitely Peter Jorde, Sandor, Hugh, Peter Joback, Norm, Ivan and Gardar. But I still have to get better acquainted with a few of these guys: I only heard Gary Mauer, Jon Ian Bourg, Jonathan Roxmouth and Tim Howar for the first time within the last few days.
But anyway, those are my favorites! I want make chapters for Christines and Raouls too, but I think I might wait a bit since I just finished the Phantom.
