 It has been way too long since the last time I posted something new here (almost two months, to be exact), so I decided that today I want to talk about fanfictions.

 I actually haven't read too many POTO fanfictions, but I've noticed a lot of them seem to follow along similar ideas, mainly having to do with the Christine/Erik pairing.

 I cannot tell you how many stories I have seen with a summary that goes something like this: "Christine chose Raoul in the end, but what of she realizes she made the wrong decision, and returns to her Angel of Music? Will her Angel still take her?"

 Well, to start, I doubt Erik was still Christine's Angel of Music by time the story was over. I can understand why people who ship the pair would want to make a story like that, where Christine realizes she made a mistake choosing Raoul and runs back to Erik, but it's been done so many times over and over.

 And apparently, there are stories with the Erstine pairing where Raoul somehow becomes the villain? Like, I get that Erstine shippers usually don't like Raoul, but I think making Raoul a villain is a bit outrageous, since he doesn't seem like he's even villain material. If any of them were to be the villain of the story, I would think it would be Erik.

 Then there are the many Erik/OC stories out there. I haven't read many of those, but I have read good ones. I think if Erik and the OC were compatible as a couple, then the story would work out well. But I certainly people don't make Christine and Raoul villains in any of those stories, because them being evil would be even worse than just Raoul being the villain.

 Though there are many Erik/OC stories out there and stories that focus mainly on Erik, there aren't many stories out there mainly having to with Christine and Raoul. Like...I've seen pretty much no Christine/Raoul stories (though I guess Raoulstine has a pretty small following compared to Erstine). I did read a nice Raoul/OC story once, but it's the Raoul/OC story I've ever seen, which I think kind of sucks because Raoul really deserves a little more attention.

 Do you know, I've never seen a Christine/OC story? I myself actually do plan to get to work on one sometime soon, but it might become the only one on Wattpad, because I've never seen another one. I think adding a OC into it could give Christine a third option, someone else she could choose instead of being trapped in a love triangle between Erik and Raoul.

 But anyway, that's pretty much all I have to say about it. As always, there are good and bad fanfictions out there to discover. Just avoid the bad ones as much as you can.
