Stuck (A Magcon Fanfic)

Jason’s POV:

 

Ok Jason just breathe and relax yourself. The Jacks were performing Paradise which meant he was up right after that song ended. I kind of wished Paradise was an hour long song so I could calm myself down, but I had to face this song sooner or later. I heard the song end and my heart stopped beating. Everything was silent. I could see people screaming and singing, yet I couldn’t hear anything. I faintly heard my name called as I made my way over to the stage. I could have sworn everything was going in slow motion and spinning. Then I saw something that snapped me right back into reality. Cat was staring at me with a twinkle in her eyes and the biggest smile ever. Suddenly I could hear everything again and I was back in the real world. I walked up to the mike.

 

“Hi guys! I’m gonna sing the song “Sing” by Ed Sheeran. But I would actually like to dedicate this song to my girl--- friend who is a girl named Cat.”

 

The crowd ooooed and awwwed when I said that. Cat looked shocked, but in a good way. I was ready. I CAN do this. The music started and I prepared myself to slay this song.

Jack G’s POV:

 

YES! Paradise was a hit with the fans and it was a successful debut performance. I was so happy, and now I got to hear Jason sing. We all stood in the back of the hotel so we could have a clear vision of his performance. He started off the song really strong and got into the zone. He looked so comfortable on stage. He was about to enter the rap-sing part of the song.

 

“He’s got this”, I thought to myself.

 

What happened next came as a shock to everyone. Jason was about to sing the rap part of the song when suddenly his face went blank and he just stared out at this stage with a face like that of a deer in headlights.

 

“Shit,” I said

 

“He forgot? He knew it right before he went on!” Hayes said.

 

Jason was still staring out into the stage and the crowd went silent. He snapped back into reality and realized what he did and threw down the mike and sprinted off the stage looking both enraged and embarrassed. Hayes, Nash, and I sprinted back to find him. We couldn’t find him backstage. But we heard a stall door crash shut just inside the bathroom to our right. That was him alright. Nash sighed and ran in after him while me and Hayes stayed outside to explain everything to the fans. We ran back on to the stage to see our fans showing mixed emotions. Some were crying, some were kinda laughing thinking Jason was joking, but the majority of them just stood there confused as to what just happened. I ran up to the mike.

“Hey guys Jason is not feeling good right now so he’s just taking a little break. I’m sure he’ll be fine to meet you when the time comes.” I said to the fans.

They all started to feel better knowing what went down. The other guys joined us on the stage to fill the time that would have been Jason performing. I hoped he was feeling okay.
