Jason’s POV:

After Hayes, Cat, Maddie, Nash, Jack G and I snuck back down to the arcade through a weird system of passages Nash found, we had such a fun night. Hayes and Maddie were laughing, hugging and playing basketball together, and Cat and I were really hitting it off over at the skee ball station.

“HA! I won again!” Cat shouted at me.

“Are you serious?? you’re such a cheater” I smirked.

“No im not! you’re just a sooore loser,” Cat retorted with a smile.

“mhm… well I have to use the men’s room so try not to cheat til I get back,” I laughed. She stuck her tongue out at me and I made my way over to the bathroom. When I was in there I heard a scream come from the stall behind me. It was Shawn.

What happened next was just plain weird. He came out of the stall all upset and explained to me that he liked Quinn but Taylor just asked her out. For some reason he thought I would be mad that he liked Quinn. I told him that I had no problems with him liking Quinn and that I would talk to her for him. That’s where things got tricky though. I liked Shawn, but I didn’t know Taylor at all. Why would I try and break him up with Quinn if I don’t even know him? He could be a really nice guy and I didn’t want to hurt him. I guess I could try to talk to Quinn…

Cat’s POV:

I can’t stop smiling. When I’m with Jason I just feel so happy. He’s so funny and cute I just want this night to last forever. But I guess all good things come to an end, because it was 12:30 in the morning and we were STILL in the arcade. I got a text from my dad telling me to come back upstairs with Maddie to the room though. I was snuggled up against Jay on the couch taking selfies when I realized we’d have to part ways.

“Jayyy I have to leaavee,” I whined.

“Noooo stay with me here forever,” he replied pretending to cry.

“Well at least i’ll be here with you all week”

“fine, but I need to see you every day”

“deal,” I said as I rose from his lap and made my way over to Maddie an Hayes who were currently doing the same as me and Jason.

“Mad we have to go”

“Nooo I wanna stay with Hayes,” she pleaded.

“Let her stay!” Hayes wrapped his arms around her.

I rolled my eyes and grabbed her from Hayes’s grasp and practically dragged her to the exit. Maddie and Hayes hugged each other goodbye and I walked over to Jason.

“Bye Jaso-”

Before I could finish that sentence I felt Jason grab my hips and pull me in. His lips touched mine and it was amazing. He had the softest lips in the entire world that when they left mine I just wanted to kiss him again.

“See you tomorrow,” he winked and walked back to the arcade.

I stood there with a full on blush and Maddie started giggling. Hayes laughed and hugged Maddie again before returning to the arcade.

“Ha! you didn’t get a kiss!” I yelled at Maddie.

“Shutup Jason,” she retorted with a smirk.

We both laughed and made our way to our hotel room. Jason was so perfect and I hoped that he would formally ask me out soon.

Hayes’s POV:

DAMMIT. Why didn’t I kiss Maddie! Don’t be such a scaredy cat. Now she’s gonna think you’re not interested. I was so mad and I could feel my face getting as red as a flame. I marched away from the door and plopped miserably down on the couch next to Jason and Jack G.

“Dang Hayzel why are you so grumpy all of the sudden?” asked Jason.

“I DIDN’T kiss her! She saw you kiss Cat and I just hugged her and walked away.” I snapped.

“Hayes there will be other dates… this was only your first time hanging out with her,” Jason responded.

“Hayes, if theres one thing papa J has learned from my dating experiences its that if a girl really likes you… she’ll be back.” Jack G added.

“Papa J?!” Jason said with a laugh.

“Yes lil J.” Jack G said with a wink.

“Well thanks for the tip Jack….” I laughed.

“Anytime brosef.” he retorted.

“Omg you just keep coming up with terrible nicknames don’t you?” Jason said sarcastically.

Jack put a pretend pouty face on then grabbed Jason’s ankles and flipped him over the couch. It was hysterical and I couldn’t stop laughing. At first I thought that Jason was really pissed off when he rose up flaring his nostrils, then he just smiled and punched Jack in the arm.

“You guys sure know how to make someone feel better,” I smiled.

“AW HAYES” Jason said as he wrapped his arms around me temporarily stopping my breathing. After that bromantic embrace we both yawned and realized it was time for us to hit the hay. We said goodnight to everyone else who was still partying strong and made our way to the elevators up to our room. The hotel was empty by now since it was nearly 1:30 am. We sleepily walked along the hallway to our room and Jason took out the key card and basically fell into the door while opening it out of sheer exhaustion. I was so proud of him, he finally stepped out of his comfort zone and showed the world who he was. We both passed out on our beds until sleep came over us.
