Owen Jr and Austin were 3 years old by the time I was pregnant again and so far it was successful. After trying for as long as we have Owen and I were happy to find out that we were in fact having a baby girl.

At 16 weeks, Owen was working on something in the work shop on the property. I walked outside to get Owen. The boys inside with my mom. I opened the door to the shop and Owen appeared blocking my view. "Hey, what are you doing?"

"It's a surprise. What are you doing?" He asked.

"Coming to get you. Dinner's ready." I said.

"Okay." He slid his hand around my waist joining me on the step. He closed the door behind him. "Ladies first." He said.

"Can we do stuff later?"

"Yeah, whatever you want." He said with a grin.

"Good." He put his arm around me walking with me inside.

After dinner, Austin and Jr were making something with their building blocks. Owen was washing dishes. I was sitting at the kitchen counter with my mom. "So, do the grandmas plan the baby shower?"

"You guys would have to get together with Savannah." I said. "She's planning something."

"Nana?" Austin said coming in.

"Yes sweetie?"

"Can you fix this? I fall and it rip." He said holding up his stuffed dinosaur.

"Of course I can fix it honey. But I have to take it home."

"Thank you nana."

"You're welcome." He went back to playing.

"Uh oh." I said.

"What?" She asked.

"That's the one he sleeps with." Owen said. "He's going to have a hard time going to sleep."

That night, Owen was sitting by Austin's race car bed reading him a story. Trying to get him to go to sleep. "Buddy, you need to go to sleep."

"Not without Skip." Skip his dinosaur.

"Nana's fixing him for you remember?" He reminded him.

"Will this work until you get Skip back?" I asked offering him another stuffed animal. "Daddy bought this for mommy a long time ago. It's my favorite. You can borrow it." I said.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yeah. I have daddy to keep the nightmares away. You need Mommy's teddy bear."

"Does he have a name?"

"Oh no. I forgot to name him. You can name him for me."

"Mr. Bear." He said.

"Sounds good. You take good care of him okay?" He nodded. I handed him the bear.

"Thank you mommy."

"You're welcome. I love you."

"I love mommy." He was asleep within a few minutes once he got the bear. Owen stood up and slid his arm around me. We went into the hallway and left the door open a crack.

I was sleeping comfortably beside Owen, my hand curled around his wrist and my other resting on my baby bump. I was sleeping on my side. Owen was still awake reading a book. I gasped waking up from a nightmare.

I panted trying to catch my breath. I felt Owen's weight shift as he moved over. He rested his arm over me pressing his lips to my ear. "Are you okay?" He asked quietly.
