Two chapters back-to-back, like I said. This song's featured in the chapter so yeah.

The next morning, Remus was a lot more energetic, seeing as he was finally able to peacefully sleep in his own bed for the first time in a long time. He made his way down the staircase, which was one of the ones that was built into the wall to look like it was floating.

"Hey, Remus." Sirius said tiredly, holding a bright red mug of coffee. He was leaning against one of the windows on the back of the house with one shoulder, half looking outside down at the lake, half paying attention to Remus.

"I thought I was the first one up." Remus comments.

"Nah. You're actually probably the last one up, everyone but Peter's awake. I couldn't sleep for some reason, so I've been down here since probably around four or five." He said, taking another sip of coffee. "They're all in the dining room eating breakfast."

James walked in. "Oh, hey Remus. You two want breakfast?" He asked.

"Sure." Remus said, and started heading over towards where the dining room is.

"I'm good." Sirius said, not moving from his spot on the wall.

"Already ate?" James asked Sirius.

"Just not really that hungry." Sirius admitted, and smirking a little as if to cover something up.

"Well, you need to eat something. Plus, these pancakes are good." James instructed.

Sirius sighed, and reluctantly followed Remus and James over to the dining room, which had a large glass table in in, with plates that had piles of pancakes on them, along with some fruit bowls and scattered bowls and plates that were either white with golden accents on them, or bold colors like red and blue. The accent wall had golden swirly patterns on it, something Remus didn't notice earlier. If they ever got rid of the outdated paint colors, Remus had a bit of inspiration from this place on what they could do with their house.

Remus took a seat in an empty chair, grabbing a white plate and a couple pancakes. Sirius sat down next to him, and took a pancake, but only one.

"So, we'll load up the boat and go tubing, right?" James asked Lily as he entered the room.

"Sounds like a plan. You're driving, right?" She asked.

"Yeah. Me and Peter-" James was cut off by Remus glaring at him "Peter and I, sorry Remus, are the only ones who know how to drive a boat, so yeah."

"All right, that works." Sirius said, and took another sip of his coffee. "Let's go load up that boat."

~~~
By noon, they had the boat loaded up, which was with mostly just waters and snacks, and the large tube, which was big enough for three people to hold onto. James started up the boat and
"Hey, hey," James yelled to Sirius, "Guess what?" He used his hands as a megaphone, to make sure Sirius heard him.
"What, James?" Sirius asked, while holding on for dear life. The water sprayed up around him, and he had to blink to keep the water out of his eyes.
James grabbed a speaker, one Remus had no idea that he packed, and started playing music. A guitar chord struck, then another. Remus almost immediately recognized the song, No More Keeping My Feet On The Ground, one of Sirius' favorite Coldplay songs. Remus decided that this would end terribly, and therefore, made the smart decision to record it.
Sirius got up on his knees, still holding on for dear life, and started singing along. "Sometime I wake up and I'm falling asleep," he sang in a low voice. "I think that maybe the curtains are closing on me, but I wake up, yes I wake up, smiling," At the last part, he held a hand out, making a little arc with it, and then returned to holding on for his life.
