Best of Friends [COMPLETE] *under editing*

Hurt

Jay sprinted through the rubble, frantically searching for Adira.

"Ade? ADE!"

He was horrified by the sight before him. Adira's clothes were ripped and she herself looked like she was clinging on to life. He rushed up to her, cupping her face and shaking her.

"Wake up Ade! ADE!" Jay was stricken with disbelief. Just this morning she was all happy and chipper with her Oreos and now look at her, this lifeless lump in his arms...

NO! I CANT THINK LIKE THAT!

Jay sat there cradling her for ages, urging her to wake up.

"J-jay?" Her hands reached up to cup his face.

"Ade! Stay with me! The ambulance is on the way. Just keep with me!" He gently engulfed her slender hands in his tanned ones.

"I j-just want t-to s-sleep.." Ade murmured and her head eventually lolled against jay's arm.

"NO! Stay with me! Don't leave me alone, Ade, please stay awake." His cries fell into quiet sobs and eventually he roared with anger. His insides were tingling with rage.

"I'm going to tear those sons of bitches apart."
