Long distance (Eliza)

eliza had been gone for a few days now and you had nothing to do. you thought it was stupid. how without your girlfriend you could never find anything to do. ever. but with the amount of time you guys spent away from each other it was almost reasonable. you groaned and threw your head back into the couch, crossing your arms over your chest.

you were sitting in the silence. the tv in front of you was turned off and you couldn't be bothered to throw some music on. you just wanted her to be there with you. sighing, you grabbed your phone and unlocked it. smiling at your home screen (which was eliza, of course). you went into instagram and started scrolling through, immediately frowning as you saw all the photos.

there were at least a dozen photos of bob and eliza, and although you knew they were strictly friends and eliza loved you, you still felt a little bit of jealousy. trying to ignore those feelings, you continued to scroll through, hoping to avoid anything relating to the current con that was going on in boston. it was working. until you saw a photo of eliza and bob hugging.

you bit your lip and locked your phone, flopping down onto your back. you threw your arm over your face and groaned again.

"i hate everything."

you breathed out. just at that second your phone started ringing. you sat up and grabbed it. eliza's face popped up on your screen and you realized she was trying to facetime. you hit answer right away and held it up, your mood completely changing.

"hey babe!"

eliza smiled from the other end, her eyes lighting up as she saw you. yiu grinned even wider and said a simple 'hey' back.

"how are you doing? are you okay?"

she sounded almost worried, like you were just a small child that shouldn't be left alone. and at some times it seemed like that. but you would never admit that to her.

"i'm okay, hun. i've just been...cleaning."

you lied, still smiling cause you knew she wouldn't believe you either way.

"mhm, whatever you say."

she giggled, looking around for a second before her deep blue eyes came back to you.

"how's the con going?"

you questioned, fiddling around with the string on your purple sweater. well, eliza's purple sweater. that you stole.

"amazing, actually! it's been really fun. i think this is one of the best cons we've had in a while."

she looked so cheery and happy, you couldn't help but smile at the way she shined whenever talking about something she loved. she pushed a strand of blonde hair out of her face before speaking up again.

"i wish you were here to see it. and the fans. i've had a few people ask about you. when i get home we're cuddling and i'm not letting you leave my arms for hours."

you chuckled and nodded, agreeing with her. you missed her just as much as she missed you, and you would kill just to be there with her.

"i'm okay with that, but i'm making you a special dinner for when you come home!"

eliza tilted her head in question. she then just smiled and looked to her right.

"i have to go now, but i'll call you tonight, okay?"

you nodded slowly.

"i love you babe."

you smiled your widest as you said those words, you couldn't wait for her to come home. you just had to get through one more night without her.

"i love you too, Y/N."

she smiled and waved at you, giggling a little bit more before you both hung up. you leant back and hummed a little to yourself. your girl was coming home soon.
