since coming back to the ground (without raven), you guys had been constantly fighting. you were angry at her for staying back, and even angrier that murphy stayed back but you weren't allowed to. bellamy tried explaining to you that she wanted you to come down before her, to come back home. but really, you found out she didn't want you to stay back because there wasn't a way down. although, they did manage to get back down here, but it wasn't the best way to get back down.
"Y/N, please talk to me," she was on the opposite side of the church, being careful of the distance between you guys. you were still wandering around the place looking at all the little things. with the information you gathered, you assumed clarke had been staying here. jeez. clarke was alive, you still couldn't get over that.
"i have nothing to say to you, raven." you murmured, arms crossed and head turned away from her. you heard the taller brunette sigh and you turned. she was walking towards you, cautiously, a smile spread across her cheeks.
"i love you." She wore a cheeky grin as she spoke, her big eyes never left you. she was beautiful. from head to toe. you wouldn't deny that, ever, not even while angry with her. you glanced down, avoiding her gaze.
"raven..." you didn't know what to say. what were you supposed to say? you thought you were going to lose her. you still might lose her, and that scared the shit out of you more than anything. the low lit fire behind her casted dark shadows over her face, you but your lip and looked away.
"i love you too." you had nothing else to say, because it was true, you did love raven, nothing would change that. "but you scared me. i thought i was going to lose you, and i can't lose you."
"Y/N-"
"listen to me, reyes," you started, stepping towards her, your arm outstretched as you thought of what to say, "i love you more than i have ever loved anyone. not one person has ever made me feel the way i feel about you, so don't try to say how i was acting was like a child. i think i have every right to be mad at you. i'm in love with you, of course i would be worried."
ravens mouth opened and closed, finding a loss for words. she knew you loved her, but sometimes she felt unsure about everything.
"i'm sorry Y/N, it was the only way to get you down-" you abruptly interrupted her, putting your finger up to shh her.
"Don't–just, come here," you guys stepped a few feet closer till you were right in front of each other, immediately she wrapped you in a big warm hug, her arms holding you close to her chest as she buried her face into your shoulder.
"i love you so much Y/N, i'm so sorry i made you worried." you could hear her voice was starting to break, and if you didn't stop it now, tears would start to spill. from both of you.
you leaned back and pushed a strand of her back behind her ear, smiling at your beautiful girlfriend before you. you always thought about how lucky you had gotten with her, and even through these stupid fights, you still thought that.
"i'm just glad you're back." you whispered, ravens hand brought you closer to her body, it resting on the small of your back.
"me too." she agreed, smiling wide with her teeth before leaning down and pressing her lips to yours for a long kiss. you melted into her lips and felt at home with her, even if you were a hostage to these new people, you too sorted out your problems, and she was alive, which is all that mattered to you.
