Chapter Five: Betrayed

'Did S-Sakura k-k-kill H-Hinata?!' Ino thought as wild questions ran through her mind.

When she reached Konoha, she was greeted by a few members of Konoha 12 but she ignored them and dashed straight to the Hokage's office.

"Hokage-sama!" She said hesitantly beacause of what she saw just a moment ago.

"What is it Ino? Where is Sakura and Hinata?" The Hokage asked.

"T-T-They... H-Hinata... S-Sakura... k-killed..." ino stammered.

"What is it, Ino?!" Hokage asked a little pissed.

"S-Sakura w-was cov-vered i-in blood a-and I s-saw S-Sakura holding H-Hinata i-in her a-arms. H-Hinata s-seemed d-dead..." Ino continued still opening her eyes wide as she remembered what she saw.

At this moment, the Hokage slammed her hand against the table and a few shinobis came in.

"Hokage-sama. A figured has been spotted from the gates of Konoha. It seemed like Sakura-san and Hinata-san." One of the shinobi explained.

"I will be there in a moment!" The Hokage said furiously. 'Sakura... did you kill Hinata? And I thought we trusted you...' she thought.

Hinata was just walking at normal speed as she walked into Konoha covered in blood, holding her body in her own hands. 'I never would have thought that one day I would be holding my own corpse...Sakura, where did you go?'

Just then a few voices stopped her. "Stop right there Sakura!" The voice commanded.

"H-Hokage-sama. Please. L-Let me explain." Hinata said. The Hokage nodded and signalled her to continue.

"I was o-on our mission when we ran into K-Kabuto. He brought me and Sakura to Orochimaru's hideout and to our surprise, Orochimaru was there too. He did an experiment on us and when it was completed, I immediately attacked him. That is why I am covered in blood but Sakura didn't make it..." Hinata explained.

"What do you mean you saw Orochimaru?! He is already dead! Stop lying to us! And why do you keep saying Sakura? Aren't YOU Sakura?" Naruto shouted.

"N-no! I'm saying the truth! I-" Hinata tried to explain again but they cut her off.

"I'm disappointed in you, Sakura. You shouldn't deceive your friends like that." Kakashi said.

"Sakura, you are annoying as ever. With your lying." Sasuke said.

"I knew you were never good from the moment I met you, bitch!" Karin stared at Hinata with evil eyes.

'Stop. Stop it guys. Stop! i'm really not who you think I am!' Hinata said to herself as she start to kneel down on the floor with her corpse still in her arms.

"I'm so sad Sakura. After all that we had done for you. I trained you so hard and trusted you so much... how can you become like that?" The Hokage said with a hint of disappointment in her voice.

"Stop lying you... betrayer! I saw what I saw! Stop faking! You wanted to kill us for treating you like this right? Well you deserved it! But why do you have to go for Hinata? She was so innocent..." Ino said as she sniffled too.

At that moment, something in Hinata snapped. With her pink hair covering her, she said,

"Do you guys... really think about Sakura-chan like that? I never thought I would say this but as Hinata in Sakura's body, maybe I will. I hate you, all of you! I hate Konoha! I'll leave this village if you guys really wish me to!" Hinata finally bursted without stuttering.

They all looked at her with shock. Still confused at what she was saying. She immediately took off her headband together with the one on her actual body and a kunai, then shifted her kunai across each of the headbands. Then, she kept them.

She stood up while carrying her body in her arms and turned her back to all of them and said," Becoming rogue sure feels great. I'll see you guys maybe, never." The wind blew her hair revealing her eyes. She looked at them with hatred, hurt and betrayal in her eyes that it sent chills down some of their spines.

Then she disappeared into the wind with a blink of an eye. Leaving no trace of her except one cherry blossom petal that slowly landed on the ground.
