Chapter Fourteen: A visit from the Akatsuki members 2

It's been a week and the two Akatsuki members should be leaving anytime soon.

"Hn, bye little bitch. I'll miss ya." Hidan immediately blushed as soon as he realised what he said. "I-I mean-" He tried to cover up but Hinata stopped him and just laughed. "Don't worry, you'll be seeing me almost everyday very soon." She answered back. "Bye, Misaki." Kakuzu said. "Bye, Kakuzu." And off they went.

They've grown pretty close to Hinata ever since they stayed in her house. Many things happened and it was unexpected. 'I guess I'll just train again. I hope there will be a mission today.' 

It has been a week since Hinata last went on a mission. *Knock Knock!* "Who's there?" Hinata asked." It's me, Nakamura-san. You are wanted by the Hokage." Yamato said. "Oh, thank you Yamato-san." Hinata replied. "Anytime, Misaki-chan." Yamato smiled behind his mask.

~~~~~At the Hokage's office~~~~~

"Misaki, your mission is to go to Sunagakure and send this parcel to the Kazekage. This parcel contains a very important piece of information and you are to protect it with your life and make sure it gets into the Kazekage's hands safely" The Hokage explained.

"Hai!" She replied. She sealed the parcel into a scroll and kept it safely with her. 'I'm going to see Gaara again huh. I wonder what's inside...' She thought and activated her Byakugan.

'Isn't this?!'

~~~~~~Akatsuki's hideout~~~~~~

"Yo! We're back!" Hidan greeted by slamming the door.

"Hidan I swear if that door is broken you will pay for it..." Konan warned and almost balled her fist. He ignored her and sat in front of the TV screen. "I'm so fucking tired!" Hidan let out a sigh.

"Hidan-sempai!!! Is the girl-chan pretty? How is girl-chan? Why didn't you bring girl-chan with you? Tobi wants to see girl-chan~" Tobi's unbearable whining was the last thing Hidan wanted to deal with.

"Shut up Tobi." Was Hidan's only reply. "Hey Hidan, you alright?" Kisame asked. "Yeah I couldn't be better, sharky!" Hidan shouted back. "Oh yeah? Then why aren't you cussing?" Kisame teased.

"I did! I just thought..." Hidan trailed off. "Thought what?" Kisame asked with one eyebrow lifted up. "None of your fucking business!" Hidan retorted.

"Whoa, anger problems much?" Kisame asked. Tobi and Konan just shrugged. Kakuzu was the only one who knew...

"I just saw Hidan walked pass, un. He seems pissed. What happened, un?" Deidara asked. "Deidara senpai~ Tobi is a good boy! I didn't make Hidan senpai mad!" Tobi chirped and grabbed onto Deidara.

"Yeah whatever now get off me, un!" Deidara exclaimed. 

"Honestly, we don't know either." Kisame replied with a shrug.

"That takes care of the last of 'em!" Hinata  proudly proclaimed. A moment ago, a group of ninjas attacked her and attempted to steal the parcel.

She knew exactly why they would steal it though. Hinata recognised it as a very old and legendary antique that worth more than all her bounties could ever worth. She presumed it was originally Sunagakure's but was stolen and now about to be returned.

She stole some wind jutsus and earth jutsus from those ninjas that attacked her. 'Idiots...' She thought. "You can come out now." She said. "Hn," was the reply.

"Stop it Itachi. That's so annoying." Hinata complained. "Hn," was his only answer. "Hn." She imitated, trying to mock him. "Not bad, I would say." Itachi spoke.

"Thanks, you aren't bad yourself." She replied. "Hn? What do you know about me?" He asked. "If you want to get to the serious part," She appeared next to him and whispered,

"then everything. The massacre, Danzo and your sacrifice." He looked at her, mentally shocked.

"Truth to be told, I really admire you." Hinata admitted. "Well, I wonder what I should say." Itachi grinned. "I should get going now, I'll see you guys after I complete this mission." She gave a cheeky smile and ran off.

'I can't believe Gaara became the Kazekage!' Hinata thought on her way back to Konoha. 

"Yeah, that jerk doesn't deserve that title." Sakura clicked her tongue at the new found information. Time passed so quickly she almost forgot how many years passed after that incident.

'Whatever. I don't care anymore. For now.' Hinata looked ahead emotionlessly. She arived at the front of her apartment, aggressively opened the door and laid back on her oh-so-comfortable bed. She shook the bad thoughts out of her head and took a huge sigh. 'I need a break.'

Suddenly, Hinata's bedroom light started to flicker. "This is not funny, Kisame-san..." She said still closing her eyes and trying to focus on getting some sleep. "Dang, you caught me." Kisame said.

"Yeah yeah where's Itachi?" Hinata asked, opening one eye. Kisame pointed at the other end of her bedroom and she acknowledged his presence.

"Same thing as Kakuzu and Hidan, if you guys are going to be observing me, you can take the rooms down the hall. Two rules: No killing and no stealing. Now leave me please, I really need to catch up on some sleep."

They obediently went to their assigned rooms and begin their observation from afar.

It's been another week that passed and her ANBU trainings were getting tougher but she could manage. After all, she did train a lot to be who she is today.

"Well, seems like it is time for you guys to go soon too. See you around soon." Hinata gave them a small smile and they sent one back her way.

"Yeah, now I'm really hoping Pein will accept you as one of us." Kisame gave his signature sharky smile which made his pointy teeth stand out.

"See you, Misaki-chan."
