Hinata as Sakura: Switched

Chapter Twenty-Nine: War 1

"Finally! I will rule the shinobi world!" Madara laughed maniacly.

Sakura just stood one side, looking as if she wasn't interested in his plans, but there were so many things running through her mind.'Am I doing the right thing? Am I turning soft? Is this a good thing? Should I stop Madara? I... I don't know what to do.'

"Sakura. Trust in yourself. Trust in us! Believe that you can because I know we can. Please. Go ahead and kill him." Hinata said.

'I... I will. When time is right, I'll make my move. Knowing Madara, he's a lone wolf and he won't need us interfering with his plans afterwards.' Sakura concluded and continued conspiring a pplan and making up possible ways of Madara's betrayal.

Sakura, along with the rest of their group, infiltrated every village and declared war with them. Things seemed to be going in the direction Madara wanted and the mastermind seemed pretty happy about it too, until Tobi spoke up.

"Madara-san, they will surely ally with each other, you know that right?" Tobi questioned, not batting even a single eye at the said man. "Of course. But without a single tailed-beast, what can they use against us?" Madara smirked, as if he knew he had already won.

"Hn." Tobi replied. 

--------Time Skip--------

"I demand you to stop this Madara! In the name of the kages!" Tsunade shouted. "The term kage means nothing to me. I could care less." Madara answered, gazing down on every one of them. "Then you leave us no choice." Tsunade lowered her head and all of them released her chakra. The rest of the kages followed, releasing their most powerful attack against him.

He swifly dodged their attacks but they trapped him in a corner and Tsunade punched him far away. He stood up shakily with blood dripping from his mouth. This made him summon Susano'o to the scene. Tsunade and Ay's attention were directed to the other shinobis' screams and so made clones to help them out.

Tsunade summoned Katsuyu as well to heal everyone. A few moments later, they manage to defeat Fuwa. "Why Sakura? Why did you go to their side?" Tsunade asked, her body was already badly beaten up and she was exhausted. She hasn't stopped fighting since the war begun.

"Drop the act. You just want me gone from this world so that I would no longer be a threat to any of you." Sakura retorted, glaring straight into her eyes but secretly held some softness in it. "No Sakura. We love you very much." Tsunade answered, taking the small spark in her eyes as the hope for her to continue.

"It's seriously hard to believe you." Sakura shifted her eyes away from Tsunade, biting her lips to prevent her emotions from taking over her. "Sakura... You know I mean what I say. Won't you come back?" Tsunade held her hand out with a soft gaze in her eyes.

"I..." 

"Don;t be fooled by them, Sakura. You know better than that. And you, stay away from her." Tobi interrupted thenglared at Tsunade

"You..." Tsunade slurred and readied herself in a fighting stance once again. Sakura took this chance to escape from the scene, leaving her mind to think about what just happened. And what she should be doing now.

Before she knew, she was far away from where the war was occurring and was hiding in solitude. With the war lasting for weeks, she had more than enough time to reflect. 

Returning back to the warzone, she found out that everyone was either dead or trapped in Madara's Tsukiyomi. Tsunade and all the other kages barely made it when Madara completed his Tsukiyomi. Tobi and Fuwa on the other hand weren't lucky enough to make it till the end.

Now, only Madara, Toma and Sakura were left.

"As good as two of you may be, everything comes to an end. Goodbye!" Madara laughed again and activated the eye in the moon to trap Toma and Sakura. Toma's eyes widen and he fell to the ground, suffering from the casted genjutsu.

"Hn, I knew it wouldn't have any effect on you. You'll just have the honour of dying in my hands then." Madara chuckled after revealing his own plans.

"It's time."

Sakura's laughter interrupted his and he turned to look at her. "You really think you can defeat me?" Sakura smirked smugly at him. "Of course, you have yet to see the rest of them after disappearing from the war for the past few weeks. You think I wouldn't know?" Madara answered. "Oh really?" Sakura's smirk grew wider as she activated the Byakugan in one eye and the Rinnegan in the other.

"I already know what that does." Madara stated like a know-it-all.

 Sakura's smile extended as she spread out her angelic wings and soared up into the air majestically. Saying Madara was astounded by this new found ability. 

Madara now realised Sakura can't be taken lightly so he activated his Rinnegan and Susano'o. Sakura too had her Rinnegan and Susano'o on. But what differentiated hers from Madara's was that her Susano'o was pink and had wings but his doesn't. Only because she activated it in mid-air, that is.

The Susano'o glided through the air and used Amaterasu on Madara but he returned it with his own. Sakura then used the fireball jutsu to attack him but he also returned one of his own. 

'This fight will never end.' Madara clicked his tongue in annoyance at the thought.
