"RAWR!!!" The Juubi screamed. Madara and Sakura looked towards the source of the sound. "I forgot about the juubi... I need to seal him." Madara reminded himself then shot a look back to Sakura who was a distance away from him.

"There's still Sakura I need to deal with..." He puffed up a clone and left the job of sealing the juubi to him while he fights against Sakura. "Just surrender and I'll help you to get over your misery!" Madara said loud enough for Sakura to hear. She knew what it meant. Her grudge, hatred and sorrow, he wants to help her end all that.

"I've heard enough. Let's just end this, shall we, Madara?." Sakura asked, in a tone he never expected her to use on him. She, too made a clone and helped Madara to seal the beast. "Why are you helping me?" He asked. "Don't be mistaken. I'm just doing it for world peace. A beast like this is not needed in our world to begin with." Sakura explained.

"Besides, you won't have enough chakra to do so while fighting the actual me." Sakura continued. Madara's clone smiled. He actually smiled. 'She cares.' He thought.

"There is no way world peace will exist in the Shinobi world." the real Madara said. "There will be if no one ever resorts to violence. If no one kills, if no one judges, if no one suspects. And if no one... hurts." Sakura trailed off. "You know it is impossible for those things to happen, Sakura." Madara furrowed his brows at the ridiculous statement Sakura just made.

"I believe it is possible. Even if it isn't I will make it possible. I will create a better future for everyone. I will stop this war. If only I could turn back time." Sakura said firmly. but drifted off at the end when she realised at that was just a stupid dream. Madara grew irritated at her delusional thinking. "You, an Uchiha, suspecting yourself? You're a disgrace." He spat.

Sakura was triggered by that statement. "So are you. Declaring war on innocent people. I know your story. I know what lead you to seeking power. " Sakura said, provoking him in his most sensitive spots. "Shut up. You know nothing." He warned.

"I totally understand how you felt. I lost my parents when I was younger. I lost my brothers a few months ago. I killed my friends a few weeks ago and I was hurting so much. I wish I hadn't done it." While explaining that, Sakura's tears were at it's brim and were about to overflow but she held it in.

Madara kept silent. He knew she was right and if it were him he would've hurt too. He still has a conscience, at least. They clashed kunais again and backed away. "Don't tell me about you. I don't care. This is how things should be solved. Those who stand in my way will be removed. The ones who don't kill, will be killed."

"And who made you the judge of that? You think you're so perfect that you can equal to God?" Sakura retorted as she backed off.  "Still, I can't sit around doing nothing right? Besides, God is using me to get back at these people." He said, this nonsense was getting to Sakura.

"No. God is not such a person. He will place judgement on them himself using his own ways." Sakura said angrily. "And how would you know that? I won't stop until you tell me a good reason." He said.

"Because, if you've experienced pain, you would treat others better since you know how it feels like getting hurt. And the reason why you try to prevent this kind of history from happening again is because of instincts... Its human nature to want to protect those people." Sakura answered.

Madara had his eyes wide open for a while but he closed his eyes back to its normal size and smiled. "So I see. You have people you love, Uchiha. I can't say I don't understand but I do know that I've been treated worse than you!" And he charged at Sakura.

Sakura didn't move. Instead, she stopped her Susano'o and landed on the ground, waiting for Madara to come closer. Madara was very confused, 'does she have a death wish or something?' He thought.

When he was about to reach her, she stretched her hand out and smacked his hand away and hugged him.

"I know you've felt pain. But you surely didn't know what I've been through and I won't blame you. I know you still have a conscience and I don't want you to lose it, Madara-san. Someone up there, is watching over you and still loves you." Sakura whispered gently in his ears.

Madara was hesitant. He wanted to kill Sakura but what was it he is feeling now? Sympathy? Fear? Anger? No. It wasn't any of those. So what was it?

Almost as if she read his mind, Sakura said," It's called understanding. As long as we understand each other, we can have a proper conversation. I know you've been hurt, but that doesn't mean you should hurt anyone else any longer. Please, I beg of you, stop this Madara-san."

Madara thought again. 'Can she be trusted? She's an Uchiha too? Maybe she's right, I should let go. Holding these grudges aren't doing me any good.'

Hesitantly, Madara wrapped his arms around Sakura, embracing her hug. 'This sure brings me back. Mom... Her warmth, her smile and her gentleness...' Sakura was slightly taken aback by his action os tightening around her but didn't let go.

"Just let me stay like this for a while." Madara said. 'He's turning soft...' Sakura smiled.

"Kill me. Sakura." He said as he looks up into the sky while Sakura was still in his arms. "Huh, what are yo-" He prevented her from pushing away from the hug and continued,

"Kill me now. Please. I've done so much I shouldn't have. And if there was really someone that loves and is watching over me up there, I would really like to be with them." Madara explained and smiled gently. The roaring of the juubi died so they knew it was fully sealed.

Sakura thought for a moment. She hesitated but eventually made up her mind. She gently broke away from the hug and told hi, "I'll grant you your last wish, Madara-san." Sakura unsheathed her sword and stabbed him with it. Before he lost consciousness, he told her this.

"Thank you Sakura. For understanding my pain. I hope we meet again."

Sakura grinned back at him and when he was totally gone, she was finally alone. Everyone was dead. The Tsukiyomi effect had worn off but Madara had killed them in the process while releasing his anger on Sakura. His anger was redirected to the tree of life and the pain dispersed from there, increasing the suffering of the captured shinobis and then eventually leading them to their deaths.

What's her purpose of living now? What is she going to do from now? Since everyone was dead, what should she do?

"Hinata... I'm sorry." Sakura said.

"It's alright Sakura. I'm always here for you." Hinata answered.

"So. What should I do now?" Sakura asked as she closed her eyes.

"Find your purpose for living. Seek it out and you shall find."

"Yes, I should." Sakura continued.

I am Sakura Haruno. Age 17. Affliation: none. Family: deceased. Notes: S-rank criminal and surviver of war. Uchiha.

I am Hinata Hyuga. Age 17. Affliation: none. Family: deceased. Notes: S-rank criminal and also surviver of war. Hyuga.

Now what was their purpose of living?

Will they ever find it?
