Chapter Nine: Becoming ANBU

"Hokage-sama, I've successfully passed the test." Hinata said as she bowed to Tsunade.

"W-What?!" Tsunade exclaimed.'The fight didn't even last for ten minutes and her opponent was Neji!' Tsunade thought. "I mean, good job." She cleared her throat and sat back down to show her professionalism once again.

Hinata smirked at Tsunade's reaction while still bowing. "Am I officially an ANBU now?" Hinata asked. 

"A-ah. Here's your uniform and your mask. Welcome." Tsunade gave her her uniform and her ANBU identity hesitantly. "Arigato, Hokage-sama." Hinata replied. 'She's something. I'll give her that. Should I put her in Kakashi's group so that he can watch over her? Hm...' Tsunade began pondering.

"I still can't believe she defeated Neji! Neji is one of the best Jounin and ANBU we had!" Tsunade muttered. "I'm afraid that is all true, Hokage-sama. I'm sorry to eavesdrop on you but I just happen to pass by to hand you some information." The proctor from just now, said. 

Tsunade nodded to tell him that it was alright and asked him to summon Team 7 and Mikasa.

Hinata walked down the roads of Konoha as she thought, 'Thank goodness I stole the wind jutsu and lightning jutsu from those ninja if not I couldn't have beaten Neji so fast.' But now I can't use them anymore...*sigh*' 

"There that's the girl that beat Neji from the ANBU!" She heard a man whisper."Seriously?! She looks so weak!" The other guy said. Hinata stopped in her tracks and looked towards their direction and started walking to them. "Looks can really deceive, can't they?" Hinata smiled after glaring at them, sending chills down their spine.

"Baa-chan! Are we going to have another mission?!" Naruto asked excitedly.

"Shut up, dobe." Sasuke hissed.

"No one was talking to you, teme!" Naruto shouted back. 

Meanwhie, Hinata was taking her time to walk to the Hokage tower. 'I wonder what is it this time...D-don't tell me she's going to put me into Team 7?! They have been missing a female member all these time... after Sakura was gone. Will Sasuke see through this genjutsu?' 

"I want to introduce you a new member. She's going to replace Sakura from now. She just joined the ANBU." Tsunade announced.

"So the girl that beaten Neji is going to join our team huh?" Sasuke smirked.

"Hokage-sama, she's here!" A shinobi told Tsunade.

"Enter!" Tsunade commanded. Hinata entered the room to see Naruto, Sasuke, Sai and Kakashi. 

"This is Misaki Nakamura. From this point on, she will be part of Team 7." Tsunade told them.

"Hello Uzumaki-san, Uchiha-san, Sai-san, Kakashi-sensei." She greeted at the end with a little mocking tone when she greeted Kakashi.

They looked at her and bowed back. Tsunade only expected her to know Sasuke since he was a missing-nin before but she proved her wrong again. " Misaki, from this day onwards, you will be joining Team 7." "With pleasure, Hokage-sama."

Again, she smirked. 'Things are gonna be very interesting from now...'

Hinata went straight to the flower shop and purchased Neji's favorite flower and proceeded to the Hospital to visit him. 'One less enemy is better than nothing, I guess... ' She walked into Neji's room and saw him reading a book. She walked towards him and he noticed and immediately looked at her.
