Chapter Twenty: Forgive?

"What?!" Everyone screamed most of them were actually happy except Karin and Ino who were just released from the hospital. "Why is she here?! She almost killed us you know?!" Karin screamed. "Yeah!" Ino agreed. "Shut up, Ino, Karin." Sasuke glared at them.

"Where is she now?" Sasuke asked. "She left the room a moment ago. She shouldn't be too far away." Tsunade informed. "Arigato obaa-chan!" Naruto smiled and ran off.

Sakura walked down the streets of Konoha while hearing whispers," Isn't she Sakura Haruno? The missing-nin that killed Hinata? What is she doing here?!" "Yeah! Let's go in before we get killed too." "Hey what are you doing here you betrayer! Get out of the village!" A man shouted and was joined by a few other people.

They started throwing things at her as she swiftly dodged everything that came her direction. Just then Konoha 12 came and saw what happened. "Stop! Stop!" Naruto shouted. "You." Sakura grunted and immediately sped off to who knows where. "Naruto, why did you stop us?" A guy asked.

"She's not here to harm any of you! She's just here for a mission! Anyway, I gotta go find her!" Naruto replied and went the direction where Sakura went. Karin and Ino followed her first and confronted her. "What do you guys want?" Sakura spat.

"What do you think? After injuring us like that." Karin said. "It's not my fault that you guys are weak." Sakura said, smirking. "Why you little bitch!" Karin tried to smack Sakura but her wrist was caught by her and she was wincing in pain.

"You got anything else in that dictionary in yours other than I don't know, bitch? Oh wait I forgot, must have punched it outta ya." Sakura retorted, smirking again.

"Sakura, stop it!" Kiba shouted as he made his way to them. Sakura let go of Karin and Karin immediately cowered behind Kiba and complained to him," I-I just wanted to talk with her but then she grabbed onto my wrist! It hurts..." Karin pretended to cry. "Yeah, I saw it too. She grabbed onto Karin's wrist when Karin was about to say something." Ino backed up. Sakura lost count of how many times she rolled her eyes. Probably the hundredth that day, and all in Konoha.

"I can't believe you're still the same, Sakura. I thought you changed for the better." Kiba said. "Yeah, believe them all you want. I don't even care anymore." Sakura walked away. "Sakura, stop." Kakashi said as he jumped down from the tree.

"Kiba, I saw everything and I can tell you that it was Karin who started it. She was looking for trouble and it wasn't Sakura's fault for trying to defend herself." Kakashi explained. "Karin and Ino looked away avoiding all eye contact. "So you lied to me?!" Kiba shouted angrily.

"You don't even know how many fucking times I've been trying to tell you guys that. But look here, no one cares right?." Sakura said, looking away. "Sakura!" Naruto yelled from behind. He landed in front of her and was followed by the rest of Konoha 12.

"Sakura, we're... really sorry for ever doubting you. We're sorry for not believing in you. We're sorry for leaving you out. We're sorry for believing false rumours about you. And mostly, we're sorry for hurting you. Will you ever forgive us?" Naruto apologised profusely but Sakura paid him no attention.

"You done? Forgive? I don't believe I've learnt that word but care to explain what believing meant?." Sakura spat. "Sakura... please don't be like that. Please... just give us another chance...The Akatsuki isn't your home. Your home is with us." Naruto begged, his eyes was full of guilt and regret. "Don't you think it's a little late for all of that? Besides, the Akatsuki trusts me. Unlike a bunch of assholes standing right in front of me." Sakura replied fiercely.

"Sakura I know you are mad at us but can you not say that about us? You are the one that didn't open up to us! How did you expect us to help?" TenTen said.

"Oh so now you guys are blaming me for being mad? It's you who didn't want to listen to me anyway! I tried to tell you about Karin and Ino but did you guys listen?! No! Only Hinata was there when I needed her! Where were you guys when I needed you? Laughing! Playing! Training! Doing all of those things without me!" Sakura couldn't take it anymore and screamed.

"That's why we said we are sorry!" TenTen argued back in her defence. "Don't use that tone on me. You think that sorry will be enough to cover up all of your mistakes? You guys are foolish to think that way." Sakura chuckled which scared the group of them. Sakura then took out a picture of Konoha 12 in a frame and dropped it onto the floor.

"Oops, oh no will you ever forgive me for shattering our friendship, and your pride." Sakura mocked and laughed at what she just did. "Oh wait, it wasn't funny? Aww damn, and here I was thinking I could make a good joke out of all your lives!" She then laughed again, humouring them with her ruthless jokes.

"Sakura, please..." Naruto stretched out his hand, wanting to stop her but she moved away from him.

"Maybe now you'll understand a tiny portion of what I felt. " Sakura explained and then looked at Ino and Karin. "Maybe not all of you." And then walked away. Some of them started to broke down as the rest were just quiet. Sasuke followed Sakura into a quieter place and waited for her to say something. "Come out, Sasuke." Sakura finally said.

"I questions and I don't take silence for answers." Sasuke told her. "I can't promise I'll answer every question." Sakura crossed her arms and looked at him from a distance. "Hn, just like Itachi." Sakura didn't react at the mention of her brother's name. "Are you my sister? What happened on that day when Itachi killed my parents? Why exactly do I have memories of you?" questions flew out of Sasuke's mouth like bombs, Sakura had to take time to think about which one to answer first.

"Well first of all, I am your sister, Uchiha Sakura. Secondly, about the massacre. Itachi didn't really have a choice since he was ordered by Danzo and he begged him to let the both of us go since we were young and he loved us more than anything." Sakura explained without any hope of him actually believing it.

"T-that's just absurd!" Sasuke tried to deny. "Believe it or not it's up to you. I don't care. I've done my part in telling you like Itachi told me to. I can't control what happens from now." Sakura said and started walking away. "But if you ever realise I wasn't lying, we'll still accept you, Sasu." She smiled at him and disappeared in a flutter of cherry blossoms. Sasuke stood stunned at the scene of his beautiful sister who was only older than him by two months as he remembered the flashback. 

"Onee-chan..." Sasuke mumured.

A/N: It's been awhile since I wrote an Author's Note. Okay so let me thank you guys once again. THANK YOU! ^_^ I'd like some suggestions for a new story. I know I've told you guys I would post the crossover of Naruto and Bleach but I thought it would be better if I post it after this book.
