Bandit's POV
The next morning I got up before Gerard, which is not common at all. I sat next to my records and pulled out the one the guys gave me. I laughed at the silly picture of the three on the front and pulled the record out. I put it on the table and turned the volume almost completely down.
1000 Hours started playing softly. I tossed the sleeve onto my desk and a piece of paper stuck out of it. I grabbed the small note. It read 'Bandit' over it in Billie's sloppy hand writing. I unfolded the paper and saw Billie's messy handwriting all over the place.
"Bandit,
I hope you enjoy the record. After all you are our biggest fan. Pay attention to the lyrics for me. Let me know what you think.
Love,
Billie JoeP.S.
For after you read the lyrics or whenever you read this(if you ever do). You drive me insane..."I put my hand over my mouth. I drive him insane? More like he drives me insane. I took the record off and made a mental note to listen to the lyrics when I can actually blast the thing. I looked at the names of the songs '1000 Hours', 'Dry Ice', 'Only Of You', and 'The One I Want'.
I haven't heard two of these songs and I am deeply offended. Now I really have a reason to be pissed at Billie! And a bigger reason to decipher every lyric. I heard Gerard yawn.
"Morning sunshine," I said.
"Morning," he groaned, "You're up?"
"I haven't been up long," I shrugged.
"Oh," he sat up. "Last night man," he sighed.
"Was definitely... interesting," I flicked my eyebrows.
"More like disgusting," he corrected.
"I don't know what to think, help me! Now I have you here you are helping me with everything," I demanded.
"I think him not backing out of the kiss right away was a dick move but, it is only a kiss. He also turned her down, as he was staring at you the whole time. And too be fair you did say you wanted to remain friends," he explained.
"Thanks for being brutally honest," I nodded, not expecting that whole thing.
"What? Do you want me to lie?" He asked.
"No, I just wasn't expecting all that," I said.
"Eh, you guys have a weird situation," he told me.
"No shit!" I laughed. "Tell me what to do."
"It's your love life," he put his hands up.
"I don't do this stuff and you know that!" I whined.
"Look, Billie seems great, at times. You two are beyond in love with each other," he said.
"In love?" My eyes widened.
"You know what I mean," he gave me a look.
"Yeah," I sighed. "I'm in high school and dealing with this bull crap!"
"High school is bull crap," he added.
"True," I pointed at him.
"You should just give it a chance I think, but that's only my opinion," he told me.
"Yeah first I have to make sure he knows I'm not mad at him," I rolled my eyes.
~
"I'll be waiting," Gerard tapped on the car window.
"I'll be back," I told him. I got out of the car and walked to the side of Billie's house. I tapped on the window. I could hear his guitar. I knocked again the playing stopped. "Billie I know you're in there I can hear Blue!"
