Quick note: yeah that smut isn't happening I'm too uncomfortable writing it and publishing it... so yeah back to the story! Enjoy!

Billie's POV

I hopped into Mike's truck. How four of us are stuffed in here, I don't know. I was packed next to the door and Bandit. "Hey," she smiled at me.

"Hi," I replied and kissed her cheek.

"You guys ready?!" Tré drummed on the dashboard.

"Yeah!" Mike cheered.

"You fucking bet," I nodded.

"You better be ready," Bandit said and leaned her head on me. Mike turned up the radio, nothing I knew was on so I dozed off looking out the window. I opened the window and leaned my head out slightly letting the wind slap me in the face.

A few minutes later the car slowed and pulled to a stop on the side of the road. I rolled the window up and we all basically fell out of the packed car. I stepped around to the bed of the truck and grabbed Blue. I saw Mike on the other side grabbing his bass.

"I didn't know we were wearing flannels tonight," Tré commented.

"What?" I looked up confused until I noticed I was wearing a flannel brown and red flannel, Mike was wearing a black and brown flannel, and Bandit was wearing a red, black, and white one.

"Oh," Bandit laughed.

"You always take your shirt off anyway," Mike added.

"True," Tré pointed at him and we all walked into Gilman.

"Okay, you guys will be great," Bandit grinned.

"We won't let you down," Mike hugged her.

"The greatest show on earth!" Tré said and they fist bumped.

"See you after," I smiled at her.

"I'll make sure to get pictures," she held up her camera.

"Try not to make me look to crazy," I laughed and hugged her.

"I'm not a miracle worker," she said.

"Thanks," I said sarcastically.

"I'm joking, you're amazing," she kissed me.

"C'mon Romeo!" Mike called to me.

"See you in about an hour," I said and ran after Mike. I pulled Blue out of the case and began tuning it.

"Ready?!" Tré was already onstage.

"I'm coming," I ran up and heard everyone begin clapping and screaming. I felt the rush of energy hit me and my heart pounded out of my chest.

Our new set list began with Going to Pasalaqua. I found Bandit making her way into the front. I smiled and began playing the song. "Here we go again, infatuation touches me just when I thought that it would end..."

The whole hour on stage was passing by in a blur. I felt at home on stage. The energy going back and forth. The booming noise of the drum behind me, the blaring amps, and the screaming crowd. I never thought we'd even make it into Gilman a year ago, now we have a regular gig here.

After finishing our last song I caught my breath and approached the microphone again. "Thank you, we're Green Day."

Mike took over, "our record '1,000 Hours' just released under Lookout!" Everyone cheered and I looked out at the crowd one last time. I lost Bandit in the sea of people but I'll find her in a minute. Tré jumped up over the kit and ran off stage like the sweaty psycho he is. Mike and I followed and continued laughing at him.
