The airplane landed. Reynolds feels the wheels hit the damp pavement on the runway. Clouds hang low and they're gray. They were expecting a rainstorm. Ron sits next to him, determination in his eyes.

"oh Ronald, stop looking so mischievious, these people would think you're up to no good," Reynolds smiled.

"Oh, but I am. Little brat thinks she can escape from us, doesn't she? Wrong. She'll never escape. We won't stop 'till Nataly Stone is locked up and dying because of one of our poor scientific methods," his eyes harden, his fists clench.

"My scienctific methods are not poor. They may go wrong here and there, but they are strong methods, almost 30% failure," Reynolds protests.

"Boss, quick question," Ron looks at Reynolds.

"Why are we going after the girl? Why not use someone else. I mean, we got the fund, we only had to wait three years, so why her? I mean she doesn't deserve the glory of surviving a science test," Ronald looks around to check if anyone was listening. No one was.

"The Stone and Reynolds family go way back. Us Reynolds were a very wealthy family, the Stones weren't. We were friends us Stones and Reynolds. Until betrayal took its role. My parents were planning to marry me off to a even wealthier daughter of an even wealthier family. But she took a liking to that stupid John Stone. I had fallen deeply in love with her, but she left me for some peasant. Marrying him made her lose her fortune and over time my family's wealth disappeared as well. Nataly's mother meant the world to me. She set me up to knock me down. Stone took my girl so I'm taking away his," Reynolds jaw was set. His eyes welled up and teared slightly but as soon as the hurt appeared, it disappeared.

"But wouldn't taking away his girl be the same as taking away her girl?" Ron asked.

"She deserves to pay the consequences. And what does it matter. They're still a bit young. Why don't they just have another child. One that would be safe and sound, instead of go through the trouble of keeping this one alive?" Reynolds' voice is empty. No sympathy, no maiciousness, no feeling. Nothing.

They unbuckled their seatbelts and headed to the baggage. They hailed a taxi and were on their way. Stopping in front of an old warehouse, they paid the young man and headed in. Five men were waiting there already, John tied in a chair in the middle.

"What a shame, Nataly's planning to go back and save you when all she has to do is go across town," Reynolds smiled.

John stayed silent.

"It would be nice visiting Linda again. She remembers me doesn't she?" Reynolds turned away.

"Boys, tomorrow night we head to Nataly's current home here in London. For now, just keep an eye on him," Ronald points at John.
