Finally, we were seated in the airplane. Zayn got the seat next to me.

We talked and goofed around with each other for a while before I turned my attention to the clouds floating outside my window.

I focused on each cloud, trying to find figures in them.

I saw one that looked like a bicycle. Another one looked like a puppy.

Another one looked like a bunch of cartoons rushing by my window. I giggled softly and turned my attention to a big cloud that had drifted into view. I looked at it closely, trying to find a shape in the white fluff.

For a second my thoughts turned to touching a cloud. Can you actually feel a cloud? Can you actually float on one?

But my mind soon drifted back to the task at hand. At first I thought the cloud looked like a sun.

Then it took the figure of a flower.

But after another minute of scrutinizing the cloud, I finally decided on what it was.

In the cloud, I saw that it was a four-leaf clover.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

It seemed like forever before the plane landed. It was drizzling when we arrived. The sky was a soft gray, indicating a short rain storm, but nothing else.

We went and got our luggage and walked outside. After standing in the rain for at least 5 minutes, we were able to hail an available taxi cab.

We got to the complex. I rushed inside and headed up the stairs towards Niall's flat. I changed into some warm clothes and started to unpack.

After unpacking, I headed into the kitchen. Naturally, no one was ever allowed in Niall's kitchen without his permission, but this didn't count. He wasn't exactly here, so we couldn't exactly ask his permission. I opened his fridge. It was crowded with Nandos leftovers and take-out containers. I stole a bottle of water and some crackers from one of the cabinets.

I sat in the empty living room and munched on my snacks. When I was done, I threw away the crackers' wrapper and sat on the couch.

I sat there, watching the sky turn darker. My parents walked in a few minutes later and started to unpack their things.

I decided to go to Liam's, to give them space. Anyways, I needed to plan when to save Niall.

I opened the door and left quietly. As I approached Liam's door, Danielle was walking out.

"See you later," she smiled at me. Although, it kind of looked more like a grimace. Then she walked down the stairs. I heard the door open and slam close.

I walked in through the door and closed it behind me. It was dark in Liam's flat, too. I headed over to a table and turned on a lamp. Liam walked in from the kitchen.

"Hey Nat," he smiled warmly at me.

"What's wrong with Danielle?" I ask him curiously.

"Nothing," he answered. But from the look in his eyes, I knew he wasn't telling me the truth.

"Liam, you're lying to me,"I point at him.

"Fine,Danielle's- upset," he managed.

"Because?" I pressed.

He went and sat on the couch. I walked over and sat beside him, waiting for an explanation.

"Danielle's not- comfortable with the situation we're in," he tried to explain.
