Poor Nataly.
No one can understand what she's going through. The boy she loved was being tortured. And Liam's not letting her go save him.
I sat and watched everyone argue with Liam. Everyone thought we'd better go and save Niall, but Liam insisted we go and get the poison first.
"We'll just go, get the poison, and come back to save him. Niall's strong enough to handle that long," Liam insisted.
"He wasn't able to handle 5 minutes, Liam!" Nataly shouted at him
"For you, he'd handle a month!" he shouted back.
An awkward silence followed. Everyone's eyes were on Liam and Nataly, who just glared at each other.
"Guys, fighting's not going to save Niall," Louis broke the tense, still silence.
Nataly just stood and walked into the kitchen. Liam sighed and put his head in his hands.
I stood up and followed her.
She was crying, her head hidden in her arms, which were resting on the counter. I wrapped my arms around her neck.
"It's going to be all right," I assure her.
She just kept crying.
"We're going to come back for him. We promise. You never break your promises to us, we're not going to break our promises to you," I say softly.
We stay there like that for a while. Nataly is like my sister and it hurt me to see her hurt like this.
I stayed there to let her know that no matter what happens, I'll always be there by her side.
-------------------------------------------------------
Nataly stared out the window the entire ride to the airport.
No one spoke a word on the way to the airport. Harry kept a firm grasp on my hand the entire way.
It wasn't long before we were boarding the airplane. I looked across the aisle where Zayn and Nataly were sitting. He kept shooting her sad looks, but she was too busy staring outside the window to notice. Zayn looked uncomfortable. I knew it was because he was upset about Niall. Just like everyone else.
Harry stared out the window, his hand still holding mines.
"What's wrong, Harry?" I ask him.
"i don't feel comfortable leaving him behind. I can't stand knowing that we're just leaving while he's getting hurt," he admitted, turning to me.
"He won't be getting hurt for long. We'll be home in 2 days tops," I say, looking into his green eyes.
He smiles.
"You have no idea how good it is to hear your voice again," he says softly.
I smile back at him.
-----------------------------------------------------
Finally, the airplane's wheels hit the pavement. We grab our bags and hitch a taxi. We drive to Nataly's home. The one she lived in when I first met her. The one she lived in before all this happened.
We open the door. Everything is exactly as I remember it. The same dining table. The same furniture. The same TV. Everything.
While everyone goes inside to settle in, Nataly and I stand outside, looking down our old street. Memories attacked me one after the other.

"Vroom! Beep, beep!" I played with my barbie dolls out on the sidewalk. I rolled my Barbie's jeep up and down the sidewalk when a soccer ball rolls up. A pretty girl my age ran after it.
