You'll Never Walk Alone

Nataly's POV

I cried while writing this chapter. Not everyone finds the same things emotional as other people. But just grab a box of tissues before reading, just in case. Thinking of submitting this story to the Watty Awards... What you guys think? Well, keep reading :')

I cry into my hands as I hand Liam the note.

The boys, Danielle, Eleanor, Catelyn, my parents and I are in Liam's flat again. He reads it aloud:

Nataly.

I'm done being mr. nice guy. We made a deal. You promised. You or your friends.

I'm actually surprised you'd risk your own boyfriend. That is what he is to you right? I thought you loved him Nataly. But no, you practically just handed him to me.

He's next. That fellow that was with you two girls that night. I promise you that. Again, it will be when you least expect it.

And do not run, Nataly, because I will hunt you down and I will find you. I'll pick your friends up one by one.

And they'll all be tortured just like blondie. So choose: you or them?

Complete silence followed after. I felt warm hands wrap around me.

"It's ok, Nataly," I hear Liam say softly.

"They took him again, Liam! Who knows what they've already done to him?" I sobbed.

"Liam, we can't leave without Niall," I hear Harry say.

"Yes, no man left behind," Dad says from the corner.

"But we can't just go over there unarmed and unprepared," Liam argues.

"Liam, sweetie, we can't just let Niall get tortured again," Danielle tries to convince Liam.

"Yes sweetheart, you saw what happened to him when he came home last time. And that was only after five minutes. It's probably been hours already," Mom speaks up.

I shook with even more violent sobs.

"Ok, look how about we go, get the poison and come back, then we'll go for him. Niall's strong enough to handle that long," Liam assured.

"He wasn't able to handle five minutes, Liam!" I shouted at him.

"For you he'd handle a month!" he shouted back.

I stared at him. He stared back. Everyone was completely silent. We just glared at each other.

"guys, fighting's not going to save Niall," Louis breaks the silence.

I stand up and walk to the kitchen. I stand at the counter and cry, hiding my face in my arms.

I felt thin little hands hug me around my neck.

"It's going to be all right," I heard Catelyn's voice.

I just kept crying.

"We're going to come back for him. We promise. You never break your promises to us, we're not going to break our promises to you," she says softly. Then we just stand there. Best friends.

We just stood there while I cried and she made sure I knew everything was going to be OK.
