Nataly hung up the phone. Worry was reflecting in her eyes.

"She probably just didn't pick up the phone in time," I tried to reassure her.

"Yea, you're probably right," she didn't sound too convinced though.

She walked on ahead of us. Danielle, Eleanor, Catelyn and the boys engaged into an intense conversation. I tried to join in, too, but I was a little worried about Nataly. What can be so bad about her mom not picking up the phone? There are no acts of crime around here. Then why is she so worried?

I kept glancing in her direction. The worry didn't fade away. Instead, it looked like the feeling just grew stronger. She kept glancing around, as if expecting someone to just pop out of the shadows.

We kept walking. It was a beautiful night. The moon was shining white bright in the sky. it kinda looked like a floating, glowing piece of mozzarella cheese.

There were barely any stars. There were no clouds. Just the moon.

The moon's light cast shadows everywhere.

We kept walking behind Nataly. She was quiet, even for Nataly.

Suddenly she stops suddenly. I bump into her and in turn everyone behind me bumps into each other.

"Nataly, what's wrong?" Harry asks.

She doesn't answer, just starts running towards a building.

The moon casts more shadows around it. I look closer into the shadows and realize that it's Nataly's house. I also realize that something is wrong.

i take off after Nataly.

"Nataly," I shout after her. Danielle, Eleanor, Catelyn, and the boys followed after me. I see Nataly disappear through the door of her house. Except...

There is no door.

I stop in front of the entrance. Last time I was there, you know, a couple nights ago, there was a door here. I study it.

"It was kicked off its hinges," Liam states in disbelief.

We all walk inside. Nataly is somewhere in here.

It's complete madness. The coffee table lays on the floor, snapped in half and missing a leg. The sofa's cushions are ripped and the white fluff from inside was laying all over the carpet. The TV was on the floor, smashed, static on the screen.

Liam walks into the kitchen. I follow after him.

There's a kettle on the stove. The only mess in here were the scraps of newspaper lying on the floor.

"Someone was making tea," Liam says, pressing his hand to the kettle.

I held my breath, waiting for him to shout out in pain from the burning kettle. But he didn't.

"The kettle's barely warm. this happened a while ago," Liam observed.

We walked back into the living room. Danielle and Eleanor were picking the fluff up. Harry, Louis, and Zayn were walking around the mantle of the fireplace. They bent down to pick up the shattered frames and photos that had been smashed on the floor.

Catelyn made her way down the hall. The back of the house, where the bedrooms were completely untouched.

The rest of us followed her. She made her way to an open room. We walked in to see Nataly. Her back was turned to us, her head hunched down.

She finally looked up and turned.

i didn't see Nataly. I saw someone who I had no idea who she was. Her features were hard. She was still beautiful, but she looked like she was ready to kill someone.

Her glare went directly to Catelyn. She reached out her hand. In it was a paper with some writing on it.

Catelyn took it and read it.

"They were here. They took her," Nataly said. Her voice was empty.

"I-uh- I don't know what to say-" Catelyn looked up from the paper.

"You guys are next," Nataly's face suddenly drained of all the rage and depression washed over it.

"What are we going to do?" Catelyn asked. Her voice was suddenly very quiet.

"Run?" Nataly's voice sounded hopeless.

"Where has that gotten us?" Now Catelyn was the one with rage in her voice.

"He promised. He sai-"Nataly started.

"We're so stupid Nataly! How can we have been so foolish to believe him?" Catelyn started pacing back and forth.

"How is believing my father foolish?" Now both of them had anger shining on their faces.

"I'm saying Nataly, how can we have believed that htey'd stop looking for us, just because we left he country? How can we have been so stupid to believe that? How could YOU have been so stupid?" Catelyn seemed even more troubled than Nataly.

"You believed him just as much than I did! You believed him even more than I did!" they were shouting at each other.

" ' Let's go and be teenage girls, let's at least try not to be teenage soldiers!' Who said that Catelyn? Cause I certainly didn't!" Nataly was moving toward Catelyn now.

"Girls! Sorry to interrupt your rampage, but I believe that since we're involved with this now, you should at least tell us what all of this is," Louis interrupted.

Nataly turned. She glared at all of us. I couldn't help but flinch. This wasn't my Nataly. When she saw me flinch, her expressions softened. I looked at Liam from the corner of my eye. He was swallowing hard and his jaw was set. The boys all seemed pretty shocked by this Nataly.

"Sorry, boys didn't mean to glare at you," she sighed. "You boys know I could never be-" Nataly didn't seem to have enough words to finsh.

"That you can never be all 'teenage soldier' on us?" I whispered.

She looked up at me.

"Yea," she said just as softly.

"Can you please just tell us what's going on?" Liam pleaded.

Nataly looked at all of us in turn.

"I don't want to lose you guys, even you two," she looks at Danielle and Eleanor.

"Your lives are in danger. You guys are like their bait. They'reusing you to get to me. i can't lose you, any of you, " Nataly looked at me at that last part.

"Sit down," Catelyn gestured arounf the room.

Once we were all seated, she looked at Nataly. "Tell them girlie," she whispered.

And Nataly started to tell us her tale.
