Never has pain felt so good. I took those blows knowing that she was safe because I was.

Last night, she confessed. I had confessed. Our feelings for each other were out in the open.

The boys came in the morning. Well, almost all the boys.

Nataly was the first person I saw in the morning. She served me my breakfast, gave me a quick peck on the cheek and left.

When Mrs. Stone came in, I asked her where Nataly went off to. She said she went off with Liam somewhere. She didn't say where.

Liam and Nataly had been acting strange for the past two days. Nataly had been everywhere except with me.

I asked Catelyn about it and she said that Liam and Nataly were spending as much time together as possible. Feeling a sharp pang of jealousy, I asked what she meant.

"Niall, don't take it the wrong way. Nataly is completely head over heels for you. It's just-" she hesitated.

"Just what?" I whispered. I was getting tired of whispering, but my voice was hoarse. I didn't have enough strength to speak normally.

"Liam and Nataly are going through a rough time with something, something that involves just the two of them. It's something they're going through together," she tried to sum it up without giving it away.

"What do you mean?" I asked her.

Tears threatened to spill over her cheeks.

"Something terrible happened Niall and there's worse to come," her voice broke.

"Catelyn, tell me," I pleaded.

"I can't," she turned and rushed out of the room as tears started streaming down her face.

And I was left in the dark. I had no idea what was going on.

I tried asking the boys. But they didn't seem to know about it either.

Harry said he was noticing how Catelyn seemed to be very upset.

"She barely talks to me anymore. She just locks herself in her room," Harry seemed upset that she was locking herself out.

Louis said that Liam and Nataly kept going out to 'run errands'.

"Errands don't take all day, do they?" Louis complained.

Zayn said that Liam barely came out of his flat anymore.

"He's always in his flat and if he's not in there, he's out with Nataly. Something happened, mate," Zayn told me.

Nataly's parents didn't seem to know anything either.

Mrs. Stone checked up on me every once in a while and she kept me updated on Nataly.

"She;s out with Liam darling" is what I would hear in the morning. "She's still out with Liam, sweetie" is what I would hear at night.

Nataly would be around long enough to feed me and help her mother nurse me, but as soon as she's finished she would give me a peck on the cheek and walk out.

This is how's it's been for the past four days.

By now, I was strong enough to walk around. I went and knocked on Liam's flat door. No answer. I just walked in. It was empty.

"Out with Nataly," Zayn said from the doorway.

I was getting suspicious.

I walked to Harry and Louis's flat.

Harry is holding his head in his hands.

"What's wrong Harry?" I asked, carefully sitting down.

"She hasn't spoken in two days. She won't come out. I take her food but she doesn't even open the door," tears are sliding down his cheeks.

Louis walks in. He sits on the couch and stares at the ceiling. He looks frustrated.

He looks back at us.

"There's something going on here and I'm going to find out what," Louis says.

"How? Liam and Nataly are always out and Catelyn won't even open her door," I ask.

"I'm Louis Tomlinson, is there anything I can't do?" he asks before getting up and heading out the door.
