chapter 4

  It was getting harder to avoid Liz's questions. She got deeper with everyone.
   "Whats your parents like?" She asked quietly in our next class.

"I dont know them." I said awkwardly. She huffed lightly. Like she waa defeated.

"So who is-" she stopped herself quickly. I turned toward her. " who do you live with?"

"My aunt." I said. It was partly true. Except the aunt part.

                                    Cade P.O.V

"Have you guys seen the new girl? Total babe" Ryan stuck out his tongue in a total cocky way. Ryan was a whore. Cheats and lies. Thats the best he could do now since his mate died a couple years ago. I always blamed it on the pain.
   I smelled something, something sweet, something I wanted, craved. I could tell it was coming from my first period.
    "You alright?" Bree knudged me a bit. Bree was like a little sister me. She gave me a concerning look.

"Yea. Fine" I said. She nodded and walked next to her brother ryan.

"Imma make her fall head over heels. See how long she lasts." Ryan winks. I rolled my eyes.

"I wanna hurry, those blood suckers might make her their next meal" He raised his finger to make fangs. I laughed as we entered. The strong scent filled my nose. A heavenly scent. I looked over to the vampires.
    A girl sat next to Liz. Her hair was a deep caramel that had loose curls around her. It fit her face perfectly. Her dark eyes seemed sweet,innocent. Her smile made me feel happy. She was gorgeous, better than any girl Ive ever seen. I couldnt keep my eyes off her.
   She turned straight and looked at me. Her face turned a light pink when our eyes connected and she broke the gaze and I smirked. She was pure. Ryan waltzed over. Confident, I watched him make his move.

"Hey, My name is ryan. Whats yours?" He asked.

"Carla.Carla Micheals." She blushed as he kissed her hand. That made me mad. I clenched my jaw.

"Ryan" I barked his name as if it was an order. They both looked at me suprised. He sighed.

"What. Shes cute" He whined as we walked back over. I rolled my eyes she looked down and away. Something was on her mind, I couldnt read it. It was as she had some weird block on her brain. She started talking to Liz and Ren. He threw his arm on her shoulders. I growled lowley. She turned her head slightly following her was ren. He smirked at me, with a playful wink. He whispered something in her ear. Was it bad that I wanted to toss his boney ass out the window at that very moment?
