Hybrid

Chapter 12

I crossed my arms as Cade laughed loudly at the movie.

"You're so loud" I huffed. He laughed louder. I hit him with a pillow. His pillow collided with my face.

"Cade" I growled. He laughed at my face.

"What little hybrid mad? What are gonna nibble me to death?" He laughed at his joke. I growled and tackled him. I got on top of him.

"I dont know to be happy or scared." He said. I smiled evily and grabbed a pillow. I shoved it over his face. Maybe if I knocked him out he would finally shut up and give me some peace and quiet. His claws grew and he ripped the pillows apart, cotton falling everywhere.

"Are you crazy?" He asked, he pushed me to my side.

"A little. You started it" I argued.

"If laughing was a crime. Arrest me." He got up and went over to the couch. "Get some rest. We have school tomorrow." I looked at the clock. 11:23

It didnt take long for big Ol' wolfie to fall asleep. I quietly and silently got out of bed and got dressed into something cute. Thats what girls in the movies did. I went to the window. Slowly unhooking the lock.
  Cades snores stopped. I looked back my heart freaking out. He had just flipped over. He continued snoring. I opened it just enough for me to get out. I climbed down the drain pipe and ran around the house. I walked down the driveway a bit.

"Gotcha." I almost screamed when Ren put his arms around my waist. I giggled.

"You look great. A little tired but good" He teased.

"Yea Cade kept me up all night" I said. I felt Rens arms loosen from me.

"Cade?" He asked. I sighed. Nice to ruin the mood carla.

"Yea, He kinda knew you were here and is now passed out on the couch in my room." I said.

"Hes in your room?" He asked, looking the way to my house. " always wanted to prank him. Never could"

"Want too?" I asked. Cade deserved a good prank.

"Yes. Perfect first date" He smiled. He grabbed my hand as we walked back up to my house.

"Uh oh." I said as I saw Cade on his phone, in his pajama pants with no shirt. The moon hit his shaggy striaght hair just right. I noticed he had a tattoo of a snake on his chest that wrapped down to his back.

"Oh good, your back. Glad to see your not dead...yet" he stood up. He walked up to us. Ren stepped up to him. Cade was a little taller than ren. He also had much more muscle than him. Ren gave off that hot neighbor boy and Cade gave off all the bad boy features I read in books.

"Cade" Ren crossed his arms.

"Came to get back at me for the kool-aid prank?" Cade chuckled." Kinda funny seeing how you guys reacted"

He turned to me. "As for you, you thought I wouldnt notice you were gone?"

"It was a shot" I said.

"Why do you have to go after the one girl I actually like?" Ren asked. He ran a hand through his hair.

"Who says I dont like her? Maybe even a little more? " He said. My eyes grew wide. My heart started to beat faster.

"You dont care about anyone, Beside you and your little mutts" Ren said.

"Watch your Mouth" Cade said. " Run back to daddy." Ren mouth opened but closed in anger.

"Ill get a Second Lister." He said.

"A second Lister?" I asked confused of the word.

"When a Vampire gives away their heart to a mortal. He would no longer be a vampire. He will start to age from then on" Cade whispered in a shocked voice.

"You wouldn't" Cade taunting Ren.

"For Carla. Id do anything." He said.

"Shes been here for four months. You couldnt possibly grown as much as a connection as me and her" Cade grabbed my hand.

"Yea thats if you physco wolf breeds didnt protect her like a bone" Ren argued. He grabbed my other hand. How did I get here? I just wanted to be in my bed. Away from this.

"I cant let you get a second lister." Cade said.

"Why?" He asked.

Cade looked at me with sad eyes.

"Im sorry" he whispered. He yanked me towards him. Sinking his teeth into my shoulder. I screamed in pain and passed out.
