chapter 16

My alarm clock went off making me flip out and fall off my bed onto the floor.

"Jesus christ. Im trying to sleep" Cade groaned, pushing me off of him.

"Sorry. Come on we got school but if we miss it after what you pulled yesterday it would look weird" I said turning on the light. He hissed hiding away under his blanket.

"Carla, Cade your aunt and uncle are here" Nancy said coming in the room.

Me and Cade exchanged looks quickly going downstairs. Of course we looked like a mess. My makeup ran down my face but Lydia didnt look much different. She looked like she had been crying.

"Whats going?" Cade asked. His uncle stood up.

"We are leaving. Catherine got a new job. We know about your buisness here, and Lydia told us about your new girlfriend. We talked to Nancy and you will be living with her for now on." His uncle said.

"You cant. Your the only family I have left" Cade argued.

"We are one call away, sweetheart" His aunt pinched his cheek but Cade wasnt going to have it. He snatched himself away from her and went back to my room, slamming the door.

"Im sorry. " I said.

"Its quite alright dear. Heres the key to get his stuff. Please keep us updated. We would take him if we could but we cant pass up this deal" Catherine handed me a key. She patted her husbands shoulder. "Lets go bill" Bill nodded grabbing their daughter on the way out.

"He seems pretty upset. Go talk to him. I got his things" She said grabbing the key. I nodded walking up the steps to my room.

"Cade?" I asked softly. He laid on my bed, hugged up to my pillow. He might act all tough but he was soft truly.

"What?" He asked.

"Are you okay?" I asked. I could feel he was hurt. Alone. And a little scared.

"The last of my family just left me. I couldnt be better" He said sarcastically. I sighed,rolling my eyes.

"Im just trying to help."I sat next to him. He looked straight at the wall. Tears in his eyes. I felt awful. Even though I grew up with no relatives I had nancy. Now Cade, He was just left behind.

"I know this really sucks but just think. You have your pack who are just as much as your family. Now have Me and Nancy as Family" I said. " I know you feel like trash but your loved." I patted his leg. "Come on get up. Im not letting you lay around feeling crappy about this."

He groaned as I tried to pull him up. I sighed, grabbing his leg and pulling him along.

"Can we just skip? Skip everything?" He asked. I sighed giving up.

"I know a place. Get dressed its alot of walking" I said, tossing him his shoes.
