"Wow... I've heard stories, but this place is unreal when seen with your own eyes." Kyle said in amazement as a swarm of fireflies circled the golem once before continuing through the forest in haphazard patterns almost as if they were a school of fish swimming in the ocean.
"After being trapped inside such a dull place like Facility Six, I can understand why someone would think that." Livana laughed slightly. "But to me, it's just normal."
"It's to sparkly." Morgan grunted.
"I did indeed wonder if you would find the true value of this place, though I suppose you wouldn't find anything 'beautiful' unless it was on fire." Livana sighed. "How truly like a barbarian."
"I'd rather be a barbarian then Twig Women. You know... That's a good name for you! I'll start calling you Twig Woman from now on!" Morgan said happily in reply, causing Livana to become irritated with him once again before she suddenly grew calm.
"You know what, you might not like it, but you might belong in this forest." Livana stated with a smug smile. "You might fit in with all of the other stray mutts that have wondered in over the years."
"What did you just say?!" Morgan yelled in anger. "Even if you are my general, I'll not tolerate such an insult!"
"And just when did I agree to be your general?! If anything, you are my general!" Livana yelled back.
"You two... please stop fighting for now. You're ruining the scenery." Guisen sighed.
"The scenery is already ruined, and the only way that it can be fixed is if it's covered in fire!" Morgan announced, and Livana had her dagger out instantly.
"If you so much as burn a single leaf in this forest I'll skin you and turn your hide into a rug, you filthy animal!" Livana threatened.
"Hey... Livana?" Kyle said hesitantly in an attempt to distract Livana, knowing that there was no way that she could possibly beat Morgan.
"Interesting! Then come if you can, Twig Woman!" Morgan laughed as Soot formed his sword in his hands.
"If you two fight in the golem, I'll end both of you." Guisen's voice suddenly grew sinister, and both Morgan and Livana simply glared at each other before Livana harrumphed and sheathed her dagger.
"Fine. I wouldn't want his blood rusting the blade anyway." Livana stated.
"We really will have to spar sometime so that you can learn the difference between us." Morgan said fiercely as Soot disappeared from his hands. And even though the fight had ended for now, there was still a heavy tension in the air before Kyle was distracted by a soft snoring sound in his ear, and he sighed as he knew exactly who it was.
"Hey Gobby, don't you think that it's about time you woke up? You've been on my back sleeping for the entire trip!" Kyle said irritably as he took off his robes and attempted to unhook his familiar's grip over his shoulders.
"No! Sleepy!" Gobby replied instantly.
"You've slept enough, at least come look at the forest!" Kyle insisted.
"No! Save you! Get sleep!" Gobby fought back.
"Don't think that just because you saved me once means that you get to sleep for the rest of your life!" Kyle yelled at her, slightly irritated that she'd done nothing but sleep and eat ever since they left Facility Six. "Come on!"
"No!" Gobby continued to protest, and Kyle sighed before he practiced his flash summoning once again and surrounded himself by more goblin minions. Thankfully, these minions at least listened to him, and the loud and complaining Gobby was soon removed from Kyle's back before he dismissed the other goblins and made her look out of the golem's opening so that she could see the forest. And when she finally did see it, she finally calmed down.
"See? Pretty, isn't it?" Kyle asked with a smile as Gobby seemed completely fascinated.
"T-tasty bugs!" Gobby said as if agast.
"Please don't eat any bugs." Kyle sighed, though Gobby didn't seem to hear him at all. Thankfully, he managed to keep his arms around her to stop her from climbing out of the golem entirely so that she could go chase the fireflies, but he was only just managing it as Gobby seemed to getting bigger and stronger as well. And with a suddenly thought, Kyle was filled with despair as he knew that if she grew any bigger, he wouldn't be able to stop her anymore, and who knew just what kind of chaos she would cause then?
"It looks like we're almost to Havilien." Livana said with a smile while looking outside of the golem, and Kyle knew that Havilien was the name of the town closest to Krunnel inside of elven territory. Like most elven villages and towns, it was under the control of Magistrate Rayvell, who was part of the council directly underneath the king. Though all of those thoughts were lost as shadows suddenly started surrounding the golem before the Guisen's minion stopped and a voice called out to them.
"If there is a summoner present then speak, otherwise the golem will be destroyed!" A voice called out, and Kyle suddenly found himself falling to the ground as the golem was dismissed out from underneath him. Kyle, Gobby and Morgan found themselves crashing to the ground with only Guisen and Livana being agile enough to actually land on their feet.
"My name is Guisen Noyal, a summoner with the Summoner Guild!" Guisen announced. "I mean you no harm!"
"Stay where you are!" The voice called out, and Kyle wasn't surprised to see the shadows from before materialize in front of him, revealing that they had been elven rogues that had surrounded the golem who were not circling the group of summoners instead. There seemed to be six rogues in total as a heavily armored warrior approached them from the front. However, with a quick look to the tops of the trees, Kyle also spotted several rangers who were perched in hidden shelters, and all of them were ready to attack at any given instant.
"What is your purpose here?" The warrior asked once he was close enough, and Guisen stepped forward to be their representative.
"We plan to pass through Havilien on our way to Cryasil where one of our members has family." Guisen answered, and instantly the warrior started looking over everyone before he spotted Livana.
"And may I ask your family name?" The warrior asked.
"Silrin, now move aside. You're wasting my time!" Livana replied angrily, and instantly the elves around them seemed to go rigged at the sound of the name.
"S-Silrin... As in-?" The warrior looked closely at Livana before standing even more rigged than before, which Kyle didn't think was possible.
"Forgive us, Lady Livana. We didn't know it was you!" The warrior stated.
"It's fine, just get out of our way!" Livana said angrily, the the warrior immediately complied before Geisen summoned his golem wagon once more and they continued their journey.
"So what was wrong with them anyway?" Morgan asked a few minutes after the encounter. "Are you famous with the elves or something?"
"My family is famous, but not me specifically." Livana stated, and Kyle sighed while nodded his head.
"I can relate to you there." Kyle agreed. "But still, to cause a reaction like that, I'm guessing that they're not just famous. They're important, right?"
"I guess you could say that." Livana replied. "My father is Rayvell Silrin, the Magistrate for the elves on the king's council. I suppose that kind of makes him our representative, in a way."
"So you're a princess." Morgan laughed out loud as Livana shot daggers at him with her eyes.
"Not, I'm not. There are two others before me in the line to succeed him, and a third daughter has no rights to the household other than simply having the name..." Livana said in a somewhat depressed tone, and Kyle remembered how she'd talked about her family before. He knew that she felt inferior her family, though he didn't know how they actually treated her. Though he supposed that he was about to find out as they passed through Havilien on they way to the elven capital. However, he could have never guessed what new obstacles would be waiting for them once they actually reached the city.
