CHAPTER 20

***SOFIA'S P.O.V.***

I am so nervous for tonight. Liam is picking me up around 7 and its 5. I have been digging through my suit case looking for something to wear for the last hour and have still found nothing. I finally decide on a light purple flowy shirt and jean short cuttoffs. I spend the rest of my time doing beach waves on my hair. I put on natural make up, brush my teeth, do one last hair check, then i'm ready.  I'm about to sit down when there is a knock on my door.  I look over at the clock and see its already 7:05.  I feel butterflies in my stomac as i go to open the door. I find a smiling Liam standing infont of me. "Hey beautiful." He says giving me a hug. Wow, he looks gorgeous tonight. "Hi." I respond. "Shall we go? " He wispers into my ear. I can feel my cheeks start to get hot. "Yes." I wisper back. He picks me up and carries me to the elavator. "Where are we going?" I ask as we make our way out to a cab. "Its a surpise." He smirks. "Awhhh... pleasee?" I ask giving him my best puppy dog face. "That face is hard to rezist, but noo." He smiles pulling me in. "Fine." I say putting my head on his shoulder.  

It feels like we have been driving for hours when the cab finally stops. I look out the window to see a huge lake, with no people. "Woah, where are we?" I ask. "To be honest, i'm not quite really sure. I asked the cab driver to take us somewhere, where there is water and no people, oh and good food. It looks like he did." Liam chuckels. We get out of the cab and make our way into the resturant. There is literally no one. The only people there are the workers. I wonder how this resturant stays open. Its pretty nice, with long silk curtians and chandeliers. I feel bad for not dressing up more. Liam asks the waiter for an outside table over looking the water. "So Sofia." He asks me once we are sitting down. "What are you planning to do with your life?" He smirks. "Well, to be honest i'm not quite sure." I say looking him in the eye. "How about yourself?" I ask. "Music. One Direction. You know the usual." He says. "Ahh, sounds fun." I reply." We spend the rest of the night getting to know eachother even though we already know everything about eachother. Suprisingly Liam hasn't changed at all, really. He keeps making me laugh. He made me laugh so hard i spit out my water all over the table and we had to move tables, that just made us laugh even harder. Now, this is the Liam Payne i fell in love with.

When we finally get back to the hotel Liam walks me to Niall's room. "Thanks Liam, i had a really great time." I say. "Me too." He says. I give him a kiss on the cheek and then go into Niall's room and shut the door. I find Niall and Zayn on the sofa watching telly. "Sof!" Ni shouts fom the sofa. "How was your date?" Zayn asks coming over and giving me a hug. "Great." I smile. "You could have stayed in my room you know." He wispers looking a little hurt. "I didn't want to over croud you and peyton." I wisper back. His face perks up. "Oh, its ok! You're always welcome!" He smiles. I go over to the fridge and get some water. I feel someone picking me up into a hug. 'SOFIA!" He screams. "LOUIS!" I laugh. "Got any carrots in there?" He asks peeking into the fridge. "No, sorry Lou." I say. "I haven't seen you forever girl!" He practically shouts into my ear. "I know!" I shout back. "How have you been?" "Good!" He replies. "Can i talk to you for a sec?" He asks. "Sure?" I reply. He takes my hand and drags me into the bedroom. "What's up?" I ask. "Why'd you break up with Haz?" He asks looking hurt. I know Lou cares deeply about Haz so i expected this sooner or later. "I...I didn't want to see him hurting anymore..." I say. "Oh." Louis says. "Do you still have feelings for Hazza?" He asks me. "No." I say almost imeadtaly. I can see the shock on Louis's face. "Do you love Liam?" He asks. Woah, that question caught me totally off guard. I don't know do i? I guess i have been asksing myself the same question over and over again. Do i love Liam? The best friend i've ever had, the only friend i've had. Do i love him? "Yeah, I love him." I say. I can see Louis nod. He leaves me standing in Niall's room alone.
