Chapter 2

*GRACE POV*

~at lunch~

My friends and I sat at our usual table. Sammy came over with her boyfriend Ryan. I don't really know him but he and Sammy make the perfect couple.

Natalie, Sammy and I were talking when Michael came over to my table with Hayes. They are best friends. I'm used to having Michael at my table, but sometimes it can get awkward because my friends know I like him, except for Hayes.

"Hey guys! how's a goin?" Hayes asked

"Nothin much." Natalie replied.

Lunch went on like that, making small talk, like usual. It sounds boring but we love it because it's then only time we really get to talk.

Lunch soon ended and be all went to our classes. I had math next with Mr. Shiring. He is the best teacher and doesn't even care if you are late, which I was because my locker was jammed.

Michael is in my next class. I walked in alone when Mr. Shiring was talking to the class. It was so awkward because all eyes were on me, including Michael's.

"Uh, I don't have a pass. The teacher in the hallway wouldn't give me one." I explained to Mr. Shiring.

"That's fine just take your seat." he said

The whole class went by so slow. I thought it was never going to end. I thought about Michael and how he winked at me this morning. I know it's probably nothing and he's just goofing off, but I can't help but think it's more than that.

BIIIINGG!!

The bell rang dismissing us to 6th period. The last class of the day, thank god.

It's the last week of school. THANK
YOU JESUS! Anyway, I'm so done with this hell hole.

6th period ended and Sammy, Hayes, Bryan and I walked to our buses while looking for Natalie and Michael. We found them and motioned for them to come over to us.

"Did you hear? Jennifer got expelled last week! Apparently she sent nudes to this kid John." Natalie whispered

"Holy shit!" Hayes said.

"Well she deserves it," I said confidently.

Jennifer and I used to be best friends last year, but then she turned into a snobby cheerleader and now she only cares about her looks, popularity, and her boyfriend, Lucas.

"You're damn right she deserved it," Michael chuckled.

*SAMMY POV*

I noticed that when Michael replied to Grace's remark, she blushed. Aww! She totally likes him. Even though she told us she does a little bit, Natalie and I both know it's more than that.

After what felt like eternity in the blazing sun, we finally found our buses. Grace, Hayes, and Natalie are on my bus.

*GRACE POV*

The bus ride was normal, us sitting in the back talking and having a good time with our friends.

We finally arrived at our bus stop. Hayes and I live next to each other, so we usually walk home together, but Sammy and Natalie go opposite ways towards there houses.

I went in my room after getting a snack. My room is painted a light turquoise blue and I have dark wood floors. I hopped on my bed and scrolled through Instagram, Vine, and Twitter. Nothing interesting, so I decided to text Sammy and ask her to come over.
