~one month later~

*GRACE POV*

"But Graaace." Hayes whined. We were currently sitting on the couch watching the notebook at my house.

"Whaaat?" I whined back.

"This movie is boring can we watch something else?" he asked pouting.

"Fine." I sighed. "What do you wanna watch?"

"Uh.... Finding Nemo." he joked.

"I'm not watching Finding Nemo." I laughed. He poked out his bottom lip and begged. Eventually I agreed and he put in the disc.

During the movie he spoke up. "This is a boring part."

"Well your the one who wanted to watch it." I chuckled.

"I know but in the boring parts we can do this." he said leaning in to me. I playfully rolled my eyes and he softly kissed my lips. We pulled apart and I giggled, making him smile. I kissed him again putting my hand behind his neck as he deepened the kiss.

His hand traveled to my waist as my sister walked in the room.

"Woah guys we all sit on that couch." Jillian laughed. We pulled apart and Hayes' face turned a darker shade of pink and I'm pretty sure I blushed too.

"Hey how's Carly and the baby?" I asked her getting up to get Hayes and I a snack.

"Um she's doing fine and she told me Nash and her are both thinking about adopting it so they can be the parents but they're still not together and they've been fighting a lot lately." she frowned.

"Well I know Nash will do anything for Carly so they'll work it out." Hayes said while wrapping his arms around my waist from behind and resting his chin on my left shoulder, making me smile.

"You guys make me sick." Jillian mumbled. I laughed and Hayes just smiled and let go of me.

"What about you and Cameron?" I asked taking a bite of a strawberry.

"Uh, I don't know honestly. I want to be with him though." she looked hurt.

"He does too he told me!" Hayes explained.

"You should go talk to him today." I told her, hoping she actually would. She nodded her head and walked up the stairs.

*HAYES POV*

I grabbed Grace's hand after Jillian left the room and led her to the couch. I sat down and pulled her down beside me. "I wanna cuddle." I mumbled and she giggled. I put my arm around her waist and she curled up and rested her head on my shoulder. We stayed like this for what felt like an hour, but I could stay here forever.

"Grace do you want to go to the fair tomorrow? My treat." I asked her. She lifted her head up and her mouth curled into a smile.

"Yeah of course." she laid her head back down and I kissed the top of her head. Before I knew it sleep took over me.

*GRACE POV*

"What should I wear?" I asked Natalie who was on the other side of the phone. I was currently looking through my closet for something to wear today for the fair.

I had my phone in between my shoulder and my cheek holding it in place, as I dug through my hanging clothes.

"Um, wear something cute but not too cute, but not to bummy." Natalie replied.

"Well that narrows it down." I laughed.

"Sorry, just look nice but don't try too hard. Hey I gotta go my mom is calling me." she said.

"Okay see ya." we hung up and I pulled out some clothes and put them on.

I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I was wearing cuffed jeans and a floral ruffled tank top with black sandals. My hair was straightened and makeup was light. I have about 20 minutes until Hayes should be here.

"Grace stop!!" Hayes yelled after me. But I didn't stop walking. I was about to start running when a hand grabbed my wrist.

"Grace I'm sorry let me explain." Hayes pleaded with sad eyes.

"No. I'm done listening to your stupid explanations. I'm done." I said through gritted teeth. Tears were threatening to fall but I didn't let them.

"Baby, we can work this out." Hayes said grabbing both my hands and looking into my eyes.

"No Hayes just leave me alone." I said pulling out of his grip and I ran back home. How could he do this to me?

I slammed my bedroom door shut and laid on my bed and cried into my pillow. No one was home so I didn't care how much noise I made. I got up and looked at myself in the mirror.

It just made me cry more. I can't believe he did this. I love him and I thought he loved me too...
