Chapter 30

~earlier that day~

*JILLIAN POV*

I decided to go over to Cameron's and try and fix things. I want to be with him. I need him.

I was walking down my driveway when I saw Cameron walking towards me. His head was down but when he looked up his face lit up. It made me smile to see him smile.

"Jillian." he whispered as he hugged me and spun me around.

"Cameron I miss you." I whispered into his ear.

"I missed you too. Listen I'm sorry for everything." He said in a serious tone, looking straight into my eyes.

"I should be the one apologizing Cameron. I'm sorry." I told him.

"It's okay Jilli." Him saying that gave me shivers.

"Would you like to get back together? We can trust each other now." Cam asked me as he grabbed both my hands in his and put our foreheads together. I smiled and said,

"Of course." He smiled and we walked back to his place hand in hand.

*GRACE POV*

Hayes and I just got to the fair and we were having so much fun. We just got off the Ferris Wheel and Hayes offered to get us some food.

I was sitting on a bench on my phone and Hayes was in the line for the hot dogs. He has been gone for a few minutes but the line was kinda long.

I locked my phone and looked around for Hayes. I didn't see him so I stood up and started walking around. I turned a corner and saw two people making out by a wall.... Wait that's Hayes! What the hell why is he kissing another girl?

My vision went blurry because of the tears threatening to fall.

"Hayes?" I asked clearly annoyed. He pulled apart from the girl who is probably a slut.

His face was terrified and the girl turned around to reveal a face I was very familiar with. Oh. My. God.

"Natalie?!"

"Grace let me explain!" Hayes said grabbing my hand. I shrugged it off and glared at Natalie.

"Grace I'm sorry but-" Natalie started but I cut her off.

"Save it." I snapped at her. I turned around and walked away. I didn't cry. I didn't want to let any tears fall until I get home.

How could my best friend do that to me?

"Grace stop!!" Hayes yelled after me. But I didn't stop walking. I was about to start running when a hand grabbed my wrist.

"Grace I'm sorry let me explain." Hayes pleaded with sad eyes.

"No. I'm done listening to your stupid explanations. I'm done." I said through gritted teeth. Tears were threatening to fall but I didn't let them.

"Baby, we can work this out." Hayes said grabbing both my hands and looking into my eyes.

"No Hayes just leave me alone." I said pulling out of his grip and I ran back home. How could he do this to me?

*CARLY POV*

I just got back from the hospital with Taylor. I was getting an ultrasound and everything is fine with the baby, and Taylor was really happy about that. Even though he is not helping me raise the baby, he wanted to be there.

"Okay see you later." I said as Taylor got out of my car. He nodded and waved as I drove away.

"Grace I'm home!" I yelled as I walked in the house. I heard nothing but I saw a light upstairs so I went up there.

"Grace?" I called as I walked down the hallway to her room. She was laying on her bed crying.

"Grace what's wrong?!" I asked concerned. She sat up and pulled me into a hug. "Shh just calm down and tell me what happened." I told her.

Her crying slowed down and she explained.

"We were at the fair and Hayes was gone for a while so I looked for him and when I turned the corner he was kissing Natalie. My mouth dropped.

"I'm so sorry Grace. If Natalie can do that to you then she's obviously not a real friend, and it's better to find out now." I told her. She nodded.

"And Hayes is an idiot." I said, walking out of her room.

*HAYES POV*

I obviously feel bad that Grace saw us kissing, and Nat and I should've been more careful.

I just didn't want her to find out. We've been hiding it from her for a while. Does she know now? Probably, and I hope she doesn't break up with me.

Who am I kidding of course she is. Now I have no idea what to do...
