Chapter 21

~continued from last chapter~

*GRACE POV*

"Who wants to go jet skiing!" Elizabeth yelled. Everyone cheered or said yes except for the rest of the girls.

"Ugh come on!" the guys said.

"We want to tan." Sammy stated.

"You can tan at the pool come on!!" Nash said. "Oh wait, bro where's Michael?" Nash asked Hayes.

"Uh," he checked his phone. "He's on his way. Oh wait there he is." he said as Michael walked up to them. They said hey and stuff and we started tanning. While we were laying down, Cam and Nash snuck up behind Jillian and Carly, Hayes snuck up behind me, Shawn behind Natalie, Michael behind Sammy, and Taylor behind Mahogany. I heard them whisper "one two three!" and they flipped us off our chairs and into the water.

"Ahhh!!" we all screamed. We heard laughing and then they all jumped in after us.

"What the hell!" Natalie yelled.

"Come on we were just having fun! And now you can jet ski with us because you're already in the water." Shawn told her. She smiled and nodded.

Elizabeth was just standing there laughing as she got the stuff together.

"READY?!" Cam yelled to Jillian who was behind him on the jet ski.

"GO!!" she yelled back. It started moving slowly at first but then it picked up speed.

"WHOOO!" they both screamed. They ride around for about 5 minutes then came back so someone else could have a turn. When they were getting off, Jillian stepped on the dock with her other foot still on the boat. They boat started moving out and she was falling into splits, which she could almost do.

"Help me!" she said while laughing. Cam quickly got onto the dock and tried to pull her but it wasn't working. After a few seconds she fell into the water.

"Oh.... My... god." she said between laughs as she came up. Everyone started laughing with her. It was really funny.

"Okay who's turn is it now?" Elizabeth asked.

"Me and Carly!!" Nash said excitedly.

"What?! No way someone else can go." Cary said sort of laughing.

"Come on it's fun!" Nash said. She nodded and they sat on it after putting their life vests on.

*NASH POV*

"Have you done this before?" Carly asked me.

"Yeah of course, it will be fun don't worry." I assured her. She nodded and I started it up.

I went really slow at first. "Go slower!" she said.

"Carly I'm barely moving." I laughed. I went faster and she started screaming so I went faster. She has to get used to it somehow.

When the ride was over I helped her out. She was smiling and said,

"Nash that was so cool!"

"I know." I winked and she laughed.

"Hayes you wanna go next?" I asked him.

"Yeah sure." he nodded. "Who wants to go with me?" Hayes asked.

"I will!" Grace said. I'm glad she wanted to. Hayes smiled a little bit and they put their life vests on and got onto it.

*HAYES POV*

Grace sat on the jet ski behind me and I started moving slow then a few seconds later, I went faster, then faster.

"WOOHOO!" she yelled. I smiled and we got sprayed with water. She screamed and I turned to go the other way because we were getting too far.

The whole time her arms were wrapped around my waist, like everyone else, but hers wrapped around my stomach and she was basically on top of me.

I like how she did that, but it was probably because she was just a little scared.

"Have you done this before?" I said slowing down even though we weren't back to the dock.

"Yep I love it." she replied.

"Then why are you holding onto me so tight." I laughed.

"Oh, sorry." she said moving her hands a little.

"No," I said moving her hands back to where they were before. "It's fine." I finished my sentence. She smiled.

"Could we talk somewhere?" she asked me.

"Uh, yeah sure. Do you want to get off this thing or.."

"Yeah let's just swim somewhere." she said. I nodded and we went to the dock, got off the jet ski and swam away.

We still had our safety vest things on so we just floated in the middle of the lake, staying still. We saw Natalie and Shawn ride together. Grace totally ships them.

"So...." She said.

"I'm sorry." we both said at the same time.

"For what?" I asked.

"Why are you sorry?" She asked.

"It just seems like the right thing to do right now." I laughed. "And I am."

She smiled. "I'm sorry for, you know.." she said.

"Yeah I get it." I said.

We were looking at each other and I decided to just kiss her. I leaned in and she did too. Our lips crashed and she wrapped her arms around my neck and I put my hands on her waist.

We pulled apart.

"Hayes, I miss you." she said.

"I miss you too." I whispered.

"I'm just gonna say it. I want to be with you again." she told me. I smiled and said I a whisper,

"I want to be with you too."

We put our foreheads against each other and stood there. Well, floated there.

*GRACE POV*

"I want to be with you too." Hayes told me.

I smiled and we rested our foreheads together, with my hands still around his neck and his hands still on my waist.

"I love you Grace." He whispered to me.

"I love you more Hayes." we both smiled at each other.

I couldn't be happier right now. I have my Hayeziepoo back.
