Chapter 22

*HAYES POV*

We swam back to the dock. Everyone probably couldn't see us because we were pretty far away, and behind a tree.

"Hey guys." Grace said as we stepped on the dock.

"Hey where did you guys go?" Jillian asked.

"We uh, just swam around to look at everything." I said. Everyone looked confused but went back to whatever they were doing.

"Does anyone want lunch?" my mom asked. No one was hungry yet but Grace and I were. We walked hand in hand to the picnic table. My mom smiled at us and I know she knew what was going on.

We sat down to eat and pulled sandwiches out of the basket. I started eating right away because I didn't eat breakfast.

"Hayes slow down." Grace laughed.

"I didn't have breakfast." I said laughing.

"Jillian what is this?" we heard Cameron say in a stern, loud voice. We turned around and Cameron was holding up his phone to Jillian's face.

"What is that?" she asked.

"Look at it!!" Cam said a little louder. Jillian got closer and her eyes went wide.

"Where did you get that?" she said loud. By now everyone was looking at them.

"On this guys Instagram! Are you with him?!" Cam yelled. Jillian's face went red with embarrassment and anger. "Tell me the truth Jillian." He said calmer.

She looked down and whispered "Yes."

Cameron grabbed his hair and he looked pissed.

"WHY?!" he asked.

"Well, I met him and then he-"

Cam cut her off. "I don't need to hear this. WHY WOULD YOU CHEAT ON ME? IVE DONE NOTHING BUT TREAT YOU LIKE A FUCKING QUEEN!" he screamed.

Jillian started to cry. "I-I'm so sorry."

"I thought I loved you Jillian. But we are over now." he said. A tear slid down Cam's face and he walked away.

"I better go talk to her." Grace said. I nodded and she walked over to Jillian. And then Nash went to talk to Cam.

*GRACE POV*

"Jillian?" I asked as she hugged me. She was still crying. "Are you okay?"

"Do I look like I'm okay?" she said a little loud while wiping her tears, but more kept coming.

"S-sorry I jus-"

She cut me off. "No it's okay. Sorry I'm just upset." she told me.

"Why did you cheat on him?" I asked quietly.

"Okay I'm going to be honest, but it'll make me sound like a total slut." she laughed a little bit. "I met him at a party last month and we were drunk and everything. We made out and stuff then he asked me out. I never told him about Cam. I actually liked him so I said yes. Then we met up a few days later and we really liked each other so we kept seeing each other. I never meant for him to find out." she said the last sentence in tears. I felt bad but she deserves it.

"I'm sorry." I said as I hugged her.

Jillian and Cam stayed but kept their distance.

Hayes and I were sitting next to each other by the water talking.

"You know, tomorrow would be our 2 month." he said.
