Chapter 9..... What's Going On?

Once class was over I got my stuff together and I left with Nick but not before saying goodbye to John. He smiled a waved at me as we left the class. Nick tugged my arm to follow him, we headed in the opposite direction

"Aurora." Nick said

"Yes."

"I don't like that John boy." He said

"Why?" I asked

"I'm not sure why."

"Then there is no reason to be judging him. Prejudgment isn't right." I scolded him

He sighed and we went to our next class. We walked in and sat down, just like the math class the teacher handed out sheets to start the course and information sheet like that last one. I filled it out

"Now this is grade 9 academic English." Said my teacher

"My name is Mr. Mack." He added

Mr. Mack was tall, tan and had dirty blonde hair, he had like husky eyes which were amazing. He was very captivating and all the other girls in my class thought so too. They all looked at him, with their hands holding their faces up, that wasn't me, I wasn't that captivated. He also did the tell me about yourself thing and I said what I said last time but I wasn't first nor did he know my name. Then the class was over faster than the other class. Nick and I headed over to the cafeteria, that's when we met up with Layla, Lily, Cameron, and John. He was standing away from the other group, I walked up to the little group gathered in the hall close to the caf but far enough to not block anything. I walked past them and they looked at me weird. I went up to John

"Hi John." I said smiling

"Hi Aurora." He said

I took my hand and held it out. He looked down at it and I slightly moved it closer, after a few seconds of hesitation he took my hand. Our hands touched and I felt an instant fuzzy feeling, I looked up at him and I felt my face heat up. I smiled at him but he had no reaction, my smile disappeared, the fuzzy feeling didn't but I wish it did

"Come with me." I said

Our hands let go and the fuzzy feeling was gone, I brought him over to the rest of the group and they looked at me

"Everyone this is John. John this is Lily."

I pointed at Lilly and he waved, she waved back

"That's Layla."

I pointed, Layla smiled and waved

"That is Cameron."

I pointed to him, he waved

"And as you know this is Nick."

Nick waved and smiled. We all nodded and we headed inside. Most of the tables were full but we found one towards the back and we all sat down. I got my food out, I was hungry. We all started to eat and they started talking including John to me. I learned some new things about him and I'm sure he learned new things about me although Nick was quiet until he slightly coughed getting my attention, I looked over at him

"Do you mind if I come over for a while after school, my parents won't be home until later."

"Sure my mom and dad won't mind, it's been long enough ."

Nick chuckled a little and so did I. John looked over at me and asked me a question that surprisingly has been asked before

"Are guy two together, you know boyfriend girlfriend?"

"Nope. We are just really close friends, I've known Nick since I was in kindergarten."

"Just really close friends?"
