Chapter 22..... Love, Anger, Hate & Kisses

*Aurora's Point Of View*
I awoke to bright lights in my eyes. My hand twitched and I felt someone else's warm hand in mine. Maybe it was John, maybe he came back, but this touch was not his. It was much more, embracing, yet it had a hint of sadness and betrayal
I couldn't move my head much but I turned it a little to see a black haired boy, face down sleeping on my bed, his hand in mine. My stomach started doing back flips knowing the his hand was with mine. Chris was here but how long has he been here? Where am I? As I looked at my arm I seen the IV line, I was in the hospital. How did I get here? My head was killing me and my chest hurt like crazy. I'm not sure what happened to me. I moved my hand and the head popped up and the eyes opened, those chocolate brown eyes. His eyes sparkled
"You're awake?" He asked
His voice was dragging on and filled with exhaustion. I went to talk but something in my throat was blocking it. I couldn't talk or swallow. I started to panic
"Aurora you have a breathing pipe in your throat, let me get a nurse." He said
I guess I didn't notice that. I nodded and he got up, he walked out of the room. I started questioning how I got here and what happened to me. He soon returned with a nurse, she walked over to me
"Aurora I need you to be very still, now this will hurt a little bit and you may gag. Now can you open you mouth as wide as you can?"
I opened my mouth as wide as I could and she grabbed the tube in my mouth and slowly pulled it out. It did hurt a bit but I guess the medication they are giving to me numbed the pain. When it was fully out it felt weird
"You did good."
"Thanks." I said
My voice was off, it cracked a bit and I found it hard to talk
"Here take a drink."
She handed me some water and I drank it all. My throat felt like a desert. Once I was done I felt better. I looked down at my chest and I seen bandages just under my gown, I started to panic, what happened?
"What happened to me?" I asked
"Aurora stay calm." The nurse said
"Your heart rate can't be too high right now." She added
"What happened?" I asked again
"You had a hole in your heart which is your septum, something triggered you to have a massive anxiety attack, which lead to a hemorrhage in you heart, making blood come out of the hole and into the wrong chamber of the heart." She said
"A hole in my heart? But I've always been a healthy and active how could I have a hole in my heart?"
"You've had it for a while, it was really small, but it was only because of the hemorrhage that it was noticed. You were taken into emergency surgery to fix it, but we almost lost you on the operating table, you started bleed profusely but they fixed it."
"Thank you so much." I said
"You're very welcome." She said
"Here I'll leave you guys alone." She added
She walked out of the room and Chris sat down at his chair again and looked at me
"How did I get here?" I asked
"I found you, face down. I called 9-1-1 because you weren't responding to my voice."
"You helped saved me. How long have you been here?" I asked
