Chapter Ten

Alpha Alex POV
It's taken us four hours to reach Moon pack, I never realised how far it was in wolf form, I am so glad we decided to do it this way as I am sure human form would of taken longer a lot longer by car. Now I am exhausted I can't wait to rest up. I personally hate these sort of meeting, I just wanted to hear what Moon pack's Alpha has to say about these rogues come to a deal and leave. I hate leaving my Beta in charge of my pack, I know I should be able to trust him but I am used to looking after my own pack. I chose to travel with only my second beta and half brother Max, so my pack was well protected in my absence. Once me and Max are dressed, we approach the packs gates and are greeted by the Alpha,
'Aww Alpha Alex, welcome to Moon pack. I hope you had a pleasant journey'
'Thank you for inviting me, I hope we can come to an agreement on the rogue situation' He starts to introduce me to his family, to be honest I have no interest in making small talk with these people. Then we arrive at a girl or women I ain't too sure cause she has her back to us, all I can see is her long black hair, my heart starts to race I try to calm myself, as the black hair person turns the Alpha introduces her to me.
'My daughter Tia and her chosen mate Matthew' I am far to busy trying to calm myself to look at her a end up looking at the floor, a light breeze blow towards us and I breath in her scent,
'Mate' I hear in my head, I snapped my head up into the eyes of his daughter, now I know why my heart was racing my mate is here. I take in the scene a bit more and I realise my mate on another's arm, I am sure her Dad said something about her chosen mate. A evil smile appeared on my mates face, she grabbed the guys face and kissed him, I clench my fists at my sides, I'm going to kill him for touching what is mine. Finally she released him, and smirked at us, she knows I am her mate.
'Um it appears my Luna is still dealing with the last Alpha who arrived, Tia please show Alpha Alex where the pack house is' I smile, perfect opportunity to get to know my mate and claim her as mine.
'Of course Dad' my mate replies,
'Please, follow me Alpha Alex, wasn't it?' Like she doesn't know who I am, I just nod my head and follow her lead, I've been waiting for her for the last five years and here she is, my eyes travel over her body she is indeed perfect, but I ain't so happy about this chosen mate situation. I know she won't be able to resist the mate bond between us, and if she even thinks of asking for a rejection I won't accept it, she is mine, handed picked for me by the moon goddess herself and she is never wrong when she pick mates.
